2017 ALEXANDRA STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Peninsula Links goes forward with Miss Gardenia crossing from wide out. Blinkers are on Inspired Estelle and she should be handy while Ellicazoom and Fragonard will be want to be up there. Could be very busy early.
ELLICAZOOM put the writing on the wall last time. She was very good at her first Victorian run but she stepped right up on that when pushing I Am A Star to a whisker last time and a return to the mile should hold no fears for her. She's the one to beat.
FRAGONARD was okay behind her and might be better served up in trip now. Inside barrier can give her a soft run on the back of the expected solid tempo.
TOFFEE NOSE was good last time. Has some talent and could be well over the odds with her winning jock going back aboard. Oregon's Day caught the eye running on against the track pattern behind I Am A Star and goes in on that formline.
