This consistent performer in the saddle recorded his twelfth career success from seventy-nine starts with the victory. Face Time Bourbon did what he does best when running out a ready winner of the G2 Prix de Bretagne (2700m), the first qualifying race of the Prix d'Amérique series. Sébastien Guarato's sensational trotter followed up his victory in the G1 Gran Premio Lotteria Finale (1600m) at Naples (ITY) last month with yet another success back on French soil. He remains undefeated in seven appearances at Vincennes. Positioned wide early by Eric Raffin the driver made a decisive mid-race manoeuvre easing the champion to the front. The pair kicked for home rounding the final turn and the explosive turn of foot allowed driver Eric Raffin a leisurely look at the big screen with 200m to go before being eased down for a comfortable win. All roads will now lead to a defence of his G1 Prix d'Amérique (2700m) as he attempts to emulate the greats Uranie, Roquépine, Bellino II and Ourasi with a third successive victory in the race. |

Always well-positioned by driver Gabriele Gelormini the progressive daughter of Prodigious showed a smart burst of acceleration down the home-straight to put distance between herself and her rivals. That was an eighth career victory from twenty-two starts for this filly and rounded off an excellent weekend for Sébastien Guarato. My Fancy built on his second in a 1600m Class Two conditions race at Longchamp when battling to a hard-fought head success in the Listed Prix Hérod (1400m) last week. The drop to 1400m for the first-time appeared to bring about plenty of improvement as the son of Myboycharlie showed good early speed to lead. Allowed to dictate by others Maxime Guyon set his own fractions and the Pia Brandt-trained colt displayed a good attitude to see off the closing pack. The second and third returned with plenty of credit especially the Andre Fabre-trained Tribalist who was just making his second career start. |

Stéphane Pasquier executed a fine tactical ride by bagging the nearside rail in what looked a race winning manoeuvrer. The daughter of Wootton Bassett is a half-sister to triple Group winner Morando and the blue-blooded filly will be offered for sale at the Arqana the Vente d'Elevage on Saturday, December 4th. |

It was an enterprising ride by Hugo Journiac who worked his way across from a wide draw and managed to dictate steady fractions throughout. Always travelling well, the daughter of Sea The Moon relished underfoot conditions keeping on stoutly. There should be plenty more to come from this filly where the further step up in trip looks a possibility. Always jumping well throughout under jockey Lucas Zuliani the stunning grey appeared to relish the stiffer stamina test staying on stoutly for a four-and-a-half-length success. Unexposed over these staying trips there could be further improvement to come from the son of Poliglote who's progeny includes the high-class Politologue, Don Poli and Top Notch. |
