Following the abandonment of Newcastle's fixture on Saturday 2 December, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) have confirmed the rescheduling of the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle to Sandown on Saturday 9 December.

All existing entries will be cancelled, with the race re-opened for new entries, closing at 12 noon on Monday 4 December.

In addition, the Mares' Listed Steeple Chase that had been scheduled to take place at Carlisle on Sunday 3 December has been rescheduled to Aintree on Saturday 9 December.

Entries will close at 12 noon on Monday 4 December.
