ZEROING IN

We go about finding a weekend special from a statistical angle.

Randwick Race 9 - 5 Right Or Wrong

Handy galloper from the Maher and Eustace stable who has been rock solid in all three starts this preparation and now looks set to peak racing fourth up.

Returning from a 2.5 year break back in August, Right Or Wrong has steadily improved with each performance and looks to have had the perfect grounding to step up to 1400m on Saturday.

When formerly trained by Lindsay Gough his best form was achieved up to a mile and he is unbeaten in two prior attempts over 1400m.

The wet track should post him no concern and he has drawn to receive all the favours for Jason Collett.

If able to continue his upward spiral he should prove very hard to beat.

Key Trends

  • Right Or Wrong has placed in 4/5 attempts on rain affected going and while yet to be seen on a Heavy track, he should appreciate the sting out.
  • Overall the Maher and Eustace stable is striking at 20% (138 runners) and has run at a POT of +8%.
  • With gallopers having three weeks between runs the stable is striking at 21%.
