Winning Trainer: Matthew Dunn

"He didn't do it the easy way. He was three and four deep and wanted to be a little closer than where we ended up.

"We got a bit of pressure out of the gates and (the tempo) it is good to see. They were saying that you can't come from back on this track but he is evidence that you. He got back to second last and circled the field and beat them convincingly.

"Wonderful race to win for a really good guy, Ian Corrazol, who has been with me for now 12 months and he keeps supporting us and it is wonderful to get a good result from him.

The horse: "He is one an unassuming character and he keeps improving every time you do something. We were coming into this race quietly confident and thinking he is in a good spot but I didn't think he could sit four-deep the trip and still beat these today but he did a great job.

"He got in with 53-kilos on his back it makes a massive difference. He made his run with Rothfire and that is they key. You get these horses into these races at the right time and they get in well at the weights, they usually win."

Winning Jockey: Michael Dee

On the run: "Super effort to run down the leader, he showed a great turn of foot on a track where really not many horses were making up that sort of ground. It was a great effort."

On riding a Magic Millions carnival winner: "This is my first winner here. It is a good way to kick off the day and I've got a couple of nice each way rides throughout the day so hopefully I can get another result."
