Devonport double for Blacker & Radley.

Trainer John Keys was off to a flyer with the quinella in the opening event, a 2YO & 3YO 1200m maiden in Hobart on Sunday.

After an emotion-charged day in Hobart last Sunday, racing returns to the synthetic surface in Devonport on Wednesday for the first time since the Cup was held there in early January.

A change of plans in the first few hundred metres helped the well-backed Surely Special ($7.50 – $3.50) land his second career win in the (1620m) maiden/class 1.

Let’s Messaround broke its maiden status at start number five when it landed the money after a clever ride from Siggy Carr in Hobart on Sunday.
