Winning Trainer: Mat Ellerton & Simon Zahra (Simon speaking)

"Her run at Cranbourne was good so she's just taking a while to get there. Always shown us good ability. We took her to The Valley first-up as a two-year-old and got a bit lost.

"She's always been one of our favourites and one of the picks of David's (Moodie). You saw her with a good turn-of-foot today.

"It looks like third-up now she could head to the farm and have a freshen up. Keep it nice and warm and have a go at something over the spring. Every run has been better. Her run at Cranbourne was good. Just didn't get the luck on the corner.

"Good ride from Damian, he was patient. Might have got a little but worried when Power Crunch got about eight (lengths) in front but it was a nice sustained run. That's the key with her."

"Her progression has been great. I work very closely with these young Ellerton/Zahra Hesket Bloodstock horses. She's been one that I have worked a lot with and she's always shown good ability.

"She's been one where I thought her stamina might let her down. She's always been sharp over short trips in trials and I thought she may not be able to sustain the gallop.

"Ever since she's stepped out this prep she's completely proven me wrong and I'm very happy to be wrong.

"With the rail being out eight (metres) and then eleven at the last two meetings, there's just a little bit of wear down the middle of the track so I was conscious to try and get inside that and get to some fresh ground. A bit of a tailwind so I was keen to be on speed.

"There was a tearaway leader but she carted the next division up. She's so tough that she continued to run through the line.

"I've had a frustrating run of placings for the ownership of late so it was good to get a win for them."
