The bet365 major prize this Saturday is $75,000 for those able to correctly pick six winners. Minor prizes of $10,000 and $5,000 for five and four winners are in place.

Here's what the R&S team thinks to help you along in snagging that major prize.

Hawkesbury Race 8 - Hawkesbury Gold Cup (1600m)

Multiple Group 1 placegetter NUGGET (4) returns from a 28-day let-up after flashing late between runners when a narrow fourth in the G1 Doncaster Mile at Randwick on April 6. Will appreciate the drop in grade and since fitted with a recent 1200m trial placing at Warwick Farm on April 26. Expected to go close. Group 1 placegetter DETONATOR JACK (1) warmed up late when an eye-catching sixth over 1600m in the G1 Doncaster Mile at Randwick. Third-up record is strong and should be able to race closer. Looks hard to beat. Multiple Group 2 placegetter JUST FOLK (6) indicated a win was imminent after sitting on the speed with the 60kg when a narrow third over 1600m in the LR Golden Mile at Bendigo on April 13. Gets his chance with Rawiller engaged. Group 3 winner WELWAL (11) returns from a 35-day let-up and will need some McDonald magic from the sticky gate. Strong through the line when third in the G3 Doncaster Prel over 1500m at Rosehill on March 30. Races best fresh and has genuine claims.

Caulfield Race 8 - Tobin Brothers Celebrating Lives Handicap (2000m)

FALL FOR CINDY (17) sound return with the 58.5kg when motored late to finish third over 1400m at Warwick Farm on April 1. Drops sharply in weight with the claim and is undefeated second-up. Go close. HIGHLIGHTS (10) back in grade when a determined winner over 1500m at Rosehill on April 27. Backs up quickly and gets map favours from the good gate. Group 3 winner RISE OF THE MASSES (13) is returning from a lengthy spell. Has a sound fresh record and fitted with two recent trials. Will go forward and give plenty of cheek. Group 2 placegetter SNOWMAN (19) is resuming after sitting on the speed when a gritty second in the G2 Call-Pres over 1600m at Randwick on October 28. Fitted with two trials and can sprint well fresh.

Eagle Farm Race 9 - Queensland Guineas (1600m)

RACE 9 - DUCASSE (2) had been competitive in the Randwick and Rosehill Guineas before relishing the drop in class and taking out the Carbine Club over this distance at Randwick last start. Needs a gun ride from the wide gate but with even luck he can win again. KINTYRE (1) closed well to grab third behind Ducasse in the Carbine Club before hanging on by the barest margin to win the Frank Packer Plate over 2000m at Randwick last time. Back in trip is a query but he has the quality to test this field. PORT LOCKROY (8) ran into a few dead-ends before flashing home late in the 1400m South Pacific at Randwick recently. Horror draw so he'll probably go back. Watch for him late in the piece. RAZORS (6) steps up in grade and is new to the mile but is too honest to leave out.

Hawkesbury Race 9 - The Lawn Shed Handicap (1400m)

Caulfield Race 9 - Thoroughbred Club Australia Handicap (2000m)

RACE 9 - ABERFELDIE BOY (6) is a former good 3-year-old who has had some issues this season and was put aside after 2 runs in the spring. He has had a couple of runs back this year and hinted that his best form is not far away when finishing less than a length from the winner in fourth place here 4 weeks ago. He meets a field that is struggling for form and can get the job done this time. THINK 'N' FLY (10) charged home late last start at Mornington and only fell short by a short-head of winning that day. He is well weighted with only 53 kilos to carry and he can go one better here. AFFAIRE A SUIVRE (3) did not come up in 3 starts last spring and was put aside. She was an Oaks winner over 2000 metres at Morphettville around this time last year and can give this field a shake fresh-up, especially if there is some cut in the track. SHAIYHAR (7) is very good when caught in the right mood and he is nearing his peak fitness third up. He too would like a wet surface and he can't be underestimated.

Morphettville Race 8 - South Australian Derby (2500m)

RACE 8 - WARMONGER (7) was rapidly climbing over their backs late last week in the Chairman's Stakes but ultimately ran out of time. Should relish the rise in trip and will prove very tough to hold out if Lane can have him close enough when turning for home. AHURIRI (16) strode away for an emphatic victory last start in the St Ledger (2800m) at Flemington. Progressive type from a very sharp stable that can go on with it. COCO SUN (15) was denied last week in the G1 Australasian Oaks. Tackles the boys this time and slight query on the trip but warrants plenty of thought. ANTRIM COAST (1) was brilliant in his Australian debut when taking out the G2 Alister Clark and then fell a head-shy last start at Caulfield. The distance is no concern and he's drawn well. Right in this. BOLD SOUL (4) took his time but drove hard to take out the Chairman's Stakes last week. Drawn to get a similar run and warrants serious consideration. GLAD YOU THINK SO (6) next best.
