The Championships are done and dusted for 2022, but there's still plenty of high-class racing this weekend, with two Group 1's at Randwick and plenty of black type racing right across the country.

Trix Of The Trade cost us the win last week as he was unable to get the job done in the WATC Derby, but it's a new week and an improving weather forecast has us in a rich vein of confidence.

With the track rated a Heavy 9 (2:30pm AEST Thursday), the forecast looks promising for a track upgrade leading into All Aged Stakes Day, and we've got a multi to help you come out on top.

Let's dive in.

Eagle Farm Race 5 Number 11 FESTIVAL PRINCE – Place $1.26
Returning in great order this gelding hasn't had the best of luck in his two resuming runs –caught wide but running on first up, before having to go back to the inside at the latest (when the outside was the spot to be) and still charging hard. Meets a fair few of these a lot better at the weights, especially the horse that beat him last start – Bullfinch (4kg weight swing). R Fradd stays on and jumps from a low gate, will be filling the frame.

Randwick Race 6 Number 3 BIG PARADE – Win $1.85
Super first-up when going down by a head in the G1 Galaxy, this race on the weekend sets up as only his to lose. In a race which looks to have genuinely no speed apart from this fella (which on his day he has in spades), he should be able to jump straight to the front easy enough, conserve his energy, and then put them away in the straight. Hard to see him not getting the job done.

Randwick Race 10 Number 6 MAOTAI – Place $1.70
Had plenty of support after a dominant trial win prior to his latest outing, but faded late in the race to be beaten 2.5L. That was G3 company, and he'll find this a lot easier. He's drawn ideally, he gets Nash Rawiller in the saddle and the addition of the norton bit may help him relax into his races. He can fill the placings if he's anywhere near his best.

You can get about $4 for this combination (Ladbrokes, 2:30pm Thursday AEST).
