Raced like it needs & wants further, staying at the mile looks unsuitable.

Doomben: Race 4; #1 Torque I Tee 

Will find this a harder task than last time, when just beaten on home track. $6 is well under the odds.

GREYHOUNDS

Ballarat: Race 6; #6 Stout Monelli 

Stout Monelli at his best was as a very strong middle distance dog who was very reliable to wager on. But, in recent starts he has put him some odd performances and has become unreliable. Even with the small field I would prefer him drawn the inside. Peacock and Adelmo Bale can both be hard to catch as well, but at their best they can put in some sensational performances and I'm hoping that's the case here. I just need one of them to run well and knock off Stout Monelli.

Ballarat: Race 11; #3 Journey Beyond 

Journey Beyond hasn't raced since October 19 and this looks to be a race with a ton of early pressure. He is a very good dog at his best but will need to be here. Zipping Beretta is ideally drawn close to the rails and racing in good form and My Magic Man is a reliable beginner for the powerful Ennis camp and could easily win this if he landed in front so there are enough positive variables across this race to take on Journey Beyond.
