bet365's Pick 6 Challenge puts another $50,000 on the table

Leading bookmaker bet365 are putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Moonee Valley, Royal Randwick and Eagle Farm cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

Last Saturday saw three customers successfully pick four winners – sharing $1666.67 each of the $5,000 minor prize.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start.

Moonee Valley Race 5 - PJA Accountants & Business Advisors Handicap @ 2.30pm - 1000m

Twin Perfection (1) is a handy type who won three in a row over this trip and has been good in two runs since, racing without luck last time at Cranbourne in a good race. Back to benchmark grade here from a nice draw, he should bounce back. Epic Centre (3) resumes. He's a good 1000m horse who has good early speed and races well fresh. Sure to give a sight. Philosopher (6) has won both starts this time in as a gelding. Up a notch here but is hard to knock from the inside draw. Port Albert (4) is racing well and wasn't far off them at Morphettville over this distance last time. Will give a sight again. Wolflands (2) creates some interest for the new stable. His best form at this track reads well and he's won a jump out leading in.

Randwick Race 6 - The Agency Real Estate Handicap @ 3.25pm - 1200m

Tsarina Sophia (10) handy mare close to her top now third-up. Stalked the speed with the 58.5kg when a courageous second over 1100m at Canterbury in easier company on December 8. Drops 3.5kg after latest effort and maps well here. Sure to figure prominently. Valiancy (8) most improved run second-up when jumped in grade for a solid third over 1100m at Rosehill on December 2. All three wins have come at this trip and looks one of the hardest to beat. Euros (11) improving Capitalist mare who looks up to this class after being thereabouts at her two runs back. Weight drop suits and has returned good figures of late. Stays in the mix. Afterlight (4) starting to put it all together this time and chasing her third straight victory today. Wide gate no help but has a distinct fitness edge over the bulk of these.

Randwick Race 7 - Precise Air Handicap @ 4.00pm - 1100m

With Your Blessing (5) won well in the heavy going two back at Kembla, before stalking the fast speed when a tiring seventh in the LR Razor Sharp Hcp over 1200m at this track on December 9. This much easier and the 1100m should suit. Waverider Buoy (10) good fresh mare mare resuming. Will relish the solid early tempo anticipated and recent trial indicated she was primed for this. Watch for her late. Group 1 placegetter Meritable (2) surprised on resumption at $101 when rattled late for a close-up second in the LR Starlight Stks over 1100m at Rosehill on December 2. Races best with runs spaced and goes just as well second-up. Stromboli (12) gave away a big start from the wide gate at latest before running on late when eighth over this track and trip on December 9. Well drawn today and gets in light with the claim. Will take holding out.

Moonee Valley Race 9 - Sharp EIT Solutions Handicap @ 5.00pm - 1600m

Flash Feeling (2) resumes and has a touch of class for this level. He hasn't won first up but has run some decent races against better opposition and the mile is a great spot for him to kick things off. Fearless Writer (10) broke through for a narrow win at this track and trip last start. Against the boys now but drops in weight and Lane sticks from a soft gate. Chance for the double. Awash (8) had his winning streak broken last time but ran well again at Caulfield and the drop back to the mile should suit. With any luck at the right time he can win. Hard To Cross (9) resumes. He's won 3/6 at this trip and has run well in some good races. He won his latest trial and must respect the stable kicking him off at this trip. Royal Hard Hat (12) can improve off a sound return.

Eagle Farm Race 8 - Magic Millions Falvelon @ 5.32pm - 1200m.

Zarastro (6) is racing in career best form with four wins and two seconds from his past six outings including a dominant victory at Listed level last time out. Goes well for Jones who has two wins and a placing from just three steers and is racing with a lot of confidence. Looks very hard to toss. Stablemate Nettuno (4) is a bit of a hit or miss type but wasn't disgraced in Group 3 company at the latest effort and will strip fitter third-up from the spell. Looms as the main danger. Legal Esprit (10) saves his best form for this circuit with three wins and four placings from eight attempts. Can play a role in the outcome. Spacewalk (1) is a very consistent conveyance who rarely puts in a poor performance. Has to be included. Richon (12) is two from two here and looks one for the multiples.

Moonee Valley Race 10 - MSC Signs Handicap @ 5.40pm - 1200m

Sandy Prince (1) looks nicely placed third-up. He's fresh off 41 days here but back to 1200m and was good in the Ararat Bowl with a huge gap back to third last time out. Back to a Bm70 here, he rates highly and will take beating. Private Jumbo (8) was okay first up at this track and distance despite being beaten at $1.80. Happy to trust that market support and with added fitness it'll be no shock to see him improve sharply from the inside draw. Veloce Carro (6) is racing well and coming off a win at this track and trip in easier grade. Stupendo (10) is knocking on the door with consecutive minor placings in handy races. Right in this. Screwed Down (2) resumes and it wouldn't shock if he bobbed up with a big run.
