bet365's Pick 6 Challenge is back with another $50,000 up for grabs this Saturday

Leading bookmaker bet365 are putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Geelong, Randwick and Gold Coast cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

Last Monday they had 26 customers successfully pick four winners – sharing $192.31 each of the $5,000 minor prize.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Geelong Race 8 - bet365 Coastal Classic @ 4.20pm - 1700m

Bermadez (4) looks to find his race. Terrific run first up and then solid again last time behind the same winner. 1700m is a good trip for him and he hits it at the right time in his campaign. He goes on top of Junipal (1) who has been hot on the heels of Keats (2) at his past couple and might just turn the tables this time with things setting up for him to stalk and pounce over a strong pace. Have to think that both run well again. Holymanz (7) has been freshened up since a fairly tame effort at Cranbourne last time. This is no easier but the run prior when winning at Flemington shows that he can put up the sort of form that is required. Independent Road (5) has come up as well as ever and the map is a good one for him tracking that strong speed.

Randwick Race 8 - TAB Handicap @ 4.40pm - 1200m

Time To Boogie (18) returned from a 15-week spell with a highly impressive win last start in a Bm78 over 1000m here. Possesses plenty of gate speed so Berry can cross from the outside alley. Genuine sprinter who should hold that good form second-up. Legio Ten (13) has been kept fresh since coming from last on the corner to score first-up over 1100m at Rosehill five weeks ago. His second-up stats are hard to fault. Will be giving away a start again but up to 1200m he will be tough to hold out. Ang Pow (11) last appeared when a game third in the Wagga Town Plate in May, his only run of that preparation. Boasts an outstanding fresh record and excels at this trip so he represents terrific value. So Good So Cool (16) worked home well but was no match for Time To Boogie last time. A few things swing his way today so expect him to be highly competitive. Dalaalaat (5) won here at today's journey last start and should be thereabouts again.

Gold Coast Race 6 - Magic Millions Maiden Plate @ 4.52pm - 1400m

Dimitrov (2) was edged out by just a nose last start when second in a small field over 1300m at Warwick Farm at the first run of the campaign. Fitter for that and blinkers go on so has strong claims. Vanquished (10) is close to a win having placed in all three runs this time in. Went forward and gave a great sight when third behind Dimitrov at Warwick Farm last time out. Race fit and should make an impact again. Wymark (11) wound up strongly last time out to finish just a head adrift in second when resuming over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Can progress off that. Pasima (7) has shown ability in placing in both runs to date. A win looks imminent.

Geelong Race 9 - SEN Geelong Black Pearl Stakes @ 5.00pm - 1200m

Danny's St Darci (9) has been a bit better than it might look at a glance in her two runs this time in. Close up in both which have rated well and now slips down the handicap a touch and does some from a soft draw. She's right in the thick of it. Va Via (2) was good first up in Sydney and finds the gun jock coming down to Victoria where she won three times last prep. Holly Lolly (4) beat Danny's St Darci among others around the Valley and the time was good. She's a chance again. Think Material Dreams (16) is a nice horse resuming while Prairie Flower (8) is another off the Holly Lolly race that shapes as a chance. The wide draw and the map are the issues that she has to overcome.

Randwick Race 9 - Climate Roofing Handicap @ 5.20pm - 2000m

Enotis (9) returned from a 19-week spell and registered his third straight win last start, digging deep late to just get up over 1550m at Canterbury. Tackling this trip and Saturday class for the first time but he keeps improving and can cope. Monfelicity (11) was ridden forward against instructions before slogging out a tough win on Boxing Day over 1500m here. Nicely placed out to this distance at the third run of the campaign. Attractively weighted and poses a big threat again. Rogue Bear (1) is racing well without winning, his latest effort a sound second over 1800m here a fortnight ago. Unlikely to improve this deep into the prep but under similar conditions he is a good each-way hope. Kapakiri (8) stepped up to Saturday company and was far too good last time out in a comparable race to this. Goes up 2.5kgs but he had plenty to spare last time so a fourth straight win is not out of the question. Kettle Hill (2) got the monkey off his back last time and is in the mix.

Gold Coast Race 7 - The TAB Wave @ 5.32pm - 1800m

Zoe's Promise (13) is racing well having yet to miss a place this time in. Randwick winner two back and steps up in trip after finishing second in the G3 Belle of the Turf Stakes at Gosford last start. Nice run last time and will be hard to beat. The Vowels (1) was doing his best work late last start when third over 1600m in the Listed Bernborough Cup at Eagle Farm. That effort suggested the longer trip will suit. Capable of taking this out. Encoder (14) ran on to score last start in the G3 Grand Prix Stakes at Eagle Farm to make it three wins from six starts this campaign. Takes on older rivals this time but is going too well too ignore. Sacred Mission (4) kicked off the campaign with back-to-back placings before delivering last time out. Race fit now and could go on with it.
