Another $50,000 on the line with bet365's Pick 6 Challange

Leading bookmaker bet365 are again putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Rosehill, Flemington and Eagle Farm cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

Last Saturday they had 40 customers successfully pick four winners – sharing $125 each of the $5,000 minor prize.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Rosehill Race 6 - Petaluma Handicap @ 3.25pm - 2400m

Lyrical Gangster (5) progressive gelding stepping up to the 2400m for the first time today. Raced closer to the speed and saved ground along the inside when a commanding winner over 2000m at Randwick in Bm78 class on January 6. Up slightly in weight and gives every indication of running a strong 2400m. First Light (2) starting to put it all together now and chasing his third straight win over this trip today. Sprinted quickly final 200m when a tenacious 2.5 len winner over 2400m at Randwick on December 23. Kept fresh and does rise 3kg in weight for this. Yarrawonga (8) well placed second-up in the heavy (10) going when a commanding 6 len winner over 2000m at Kembla Grange in Cl 1 grade on December 30. Raced well in this company last time in and not to be underestimated. Fun Sunday (9) near her peak now fourth-up and indicated a win was imminent when fifth in a 1900m contest at Canterbury two weeks ago. Go on run four back at Caulfield over this trip when assessing her chances.

Flemington Race 8 - TAB Australian Cup Race Day, 30 March @ 4.20pm - 2000m

Incredibly open race. Nothing would really surprise. Whakamana (13) is certainly good enough to win this and should be ready to show her best third-up. The first up run was good before an even effort at Moonee Valley. Back slightly in grade here, if Currie can give her a peach from the carpark she can run very well. Divine Purpose (14) was good to the line at Moonee Valley and should be at her peak fourth up. She's going well and looks a key chance in this. Slane (9) didn't take long to find winning form this campaign, scoring by a head second up at Cranbourne. Up in trip now which should suit and he does have some upside. Enotis (6) is a handy type who won first up before an even effort at Randwick last time. Strips fitter again and is expected to go well. Dublin Journal (2) has won two in a row and no reason why he can't do so again.

Eagle Farm Race 7 - Sky Racing Benchmark 78 Handicap @ 4.52pm - 1200m

Black On Beauty (9) resumes after ending her last campaign with back-to-back wins over this course and distance. Has a strong fresh record with two wins and a placing from three attempts and a trial will have her ready to pick up where she left off. Amity Gal (10) ran a good race here fresh and while unplaced as favourite last time she wasn't far away. Building in fitness and has each way claims. Mahbaby (3) was beaten only 1.5 lengths in the rich King Of The Mountain last start at Toowoomba after running on for a win at Doomben. Must rate highly off those efforts. Emperor (5) was beaten as a hot favourite last start at Doomben but hit the line well so the longer trip will suit. Navas Two (1) draws well and is proven third up so could show his best today.

Flemington Race 9 - VRC Life Member Daniel Connell Trophy @ 5.00pm - 1400m

Going for a bit of value here with British Columbia (11). He was sound first up at Caulfield over 1400m when beaten 4.5 lengths and should strip much fitter. His best ratings would see him one of the hardest to beat and although he may be better suited over a mile, he's more than capable here. Bel Air (10) broke through for a deserved win last start here after a string of minor placings. Up in grade but down in the weights and can go on with it. Rumbled Again (15) has run third in both runs back from a spell, not far off Bel Air here last start. Should be ready to peak now and can win. Helix (17) is knocking on the door with two minor placings in a row. His form ties in with Bel Air too and he can turn the tables. Elkington Road (9) was solid first up and is certainly good enough if at his best.

Eagle Farm Race 8 - Ladbroke It! Benchmark 72 Handicap @ 5.32pm - 1400m

Hellavadancer (15) has taken on handy fields in both runs since a spell, last time beaten 3.7L in a Magic Millions race. Proven at this track and trip and has won third-up before so could show her best. Texas (7) has returned in good shape this preparation. Opened with a third then landed the prize by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1600m at this track. Jake Bayliss scored on him last time and retains the ride. One of the key runners. Centrestone (8) scored here fresh then ran on for third last start over 1350m at Doomben, beaten 1.2 lengths. Has a good third-up record so anticipating a big run. Storm The Fortress (10) will find this easier than the last attempt and is a player off a Doomben second two back. Ready Azz Eva (14) must be respected off back-to-back wins here.

Flemington Race 10 - VRC Life Member Anthony Yencken Sprint @ 5.40pm - 1000m

Johnny Rocker (5) is very interesting here now with the Nick Ryan yard. He's had 6 starts to date in Queensland and run some good races, beaten 1.5 lengths by the very smart Golden Boom first up over this trip last time in. Doubt he goes backwards with Ryan and he can take this out. Wiggum (2) was a smart winner over this route during Cup week before an even effort at Cranbourne. Fresh here and back down the straight, if he finds his best he'll go close. Mornington Glory (6) continues to race very well with two second placings here over 1100m at his past two. Should be right in the finish again. Joseylin (9) can improve off an even run last time when hard in the market while Manhattan Thunder (7) strips fitter from a sound win first up.
