$50,000 Australia Day Pick 6 Challange for bet365

Leading bookmaker bet365 are again putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Warwick Farm and Caulfield cards this Friday. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

Last Saturday they had 21 customers successfully pick four winners – sharing $239 each of the $5,000 minor prize.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a leg-up on the form.

Warwick Farm Race 5 - Bivouac First Yearlings Handicap @ 4pm - 1300m

Stylised (10) progressive gelding resuming from the James Cummings yard. Anchored with big weights last time in and expected to sprint well with the two trials under his belt. Gets the blinkers on and raced in much stronger company at his last two preps. Master Showman (3) recent runs have been full of merit and due for a change of luck. Rocketed late when a slick third over 1200m at this track on January 10. Rawiller sticks but will need a good ride from the wide draw. Kangaroo Court (8) Waterhouse/Bott-trained gelding who went quickly through his grades last time in resuming. Up in class when started ($1.85 fav), before disappointing when seventh over 1600m in the Forbes Cup six months ago. Fitted with two sharp trials and looks a genuine top-three contender. Merry Mac Boy (12) has the right figures to surprise here after tiring late when fourth over 1200m at Gosford on January 12. Well in at the weights with the claim and trained locally.

Caulfield Race 6 - Tile Importer Manfred Stakes @ 4.20pm - 1200m

Fascinating race with the resumers having very intertwining form. Carbonados (4) is the different form and I think he measures right up to these. Dominant on debut in NZ, he drifted in betting at Geelong but proved far too good there and has a fitness edge here. In time he should be group class. Steparty (2) will be the obvious. He kept raising the bar last time in, only falling short over a mile in the Guineas. Has beaten most of these before and can do so again. Southport Tycoon (6) can run well fresh. He was beaten a nose by Steparty in the Guineas Prelude and 1200m should suit well fresh. Scentify (5) has been behind Steparty on both times they've met but not by far and is in the mix. Brave Mead (3) kept racing well over varying trips but does look like 1200m will be his best.

Warwick Farm Race 6 - Inglis Australia Day Cup @ 4.40pm - 2400m

Naval College (2) progressive staying gelding chasing his third straight victory. Rounded them up effortlessly with a slick 3.5 len win in the LR January Cup over 2000m at Rosehill on January 13. Has a good record out to the 2400m and carries the big weights well. The one to beat. Deficit (11) at his peak for this and having first start over the 2400m. Showed plenty of fight when fourth over 2200m at the Gold Coast on January 13. Sits on the limit weight and looks a serious threat. Love Tap (4) Group 3 winner also having his first attempt at the 2400m. Made up many lengths late from the wide gate when a tenacious fifth over 2200m at the Gold Coast Mm Trophy on January 13. Drawn to get the right run with Berry engaged. Kirkeby (10) fitter after two runs back and since fitted with a 1030m tick over trial at Rosehill. Goes well this trip and drops sharply in weight on the limit. Can surprise at odds.

Caulfield Race 7 - Evergreen Turf John Dillon Stakes @ 5.00pm - 1400m

Not An Option (3) can win again. He beat a few of these in the Chester Manifold last start and drops 1kg from that, coming out well in the ratings. Biggest query is coming to Caulfield where he's 0/6 but if he brings his best he has to be a big chance again. Ayrton (1) races best fresh and at this track and trip, all of which he gets. He was good in the G1 Rupert Clarke here two back. Unusual Culture (5) ran well here two back before starting $3.50 behind Not An Option at Flemington and disappointing. Can bounce back. Pascero (7) was okay in the Chester Manifold but did win well here prior and is in the mix. Yonce (6) was quite good late over an unsuitable 1100m first up. She might need one more but if she brought her best she'd probably beat these.

Warwick Farm Race 7 - The Arrowfield Advantage Handicap @  5:20PM - 1000m

Shezanalister (10) consistent mare building a nice record who returned with a slick 1.4 len victory over 1100m at Canterbury on January 1. Goes just as well second-up and has the ability to overcome the wide draw. Dipsy Doodle (4) classy filly resuming from a nine-month spell. Showed plenty of fight with the 58kg when second over 1100m in the LR Woodlands at Scone on May 13. Looked sharp in two trials and gets every chance with Rawiller aboard. Oceans One (7) third-up today and won third-up previously. Has a strong win record and up to this after scoring well with the 61kg over 1000m at Gosford on January 12. McEvoy keeps the ride from the good gate. Value prospect. Amnesty (1) struggled in two runs back but worth noting three of her four wins have come at this distance. Claim helps again and looks good each way value.

Caulfield Race 8 - Nick Johnstone Real Estate Handicap @ 5.40pm - 1400m

Jenny Jerome (11) can bounce back from a disappointing effort second up at Flemington over 1200m. The first up run indicated she was back in good form and she now gets to 1400m third-up which suits much better. Right up to these at her best and goes on top in a wide open affair. Fortunate Kiss (7) struggled against some handy sprinters two back but improved back to benchmark grade last time at Moonee Valley. Like her at this trip now and she can figure. Tasman Park (15) struggles to win but continues to race well in similar events. Drawn ideally and should be thereabouts. Marble Arch (14) was quite good first up at listed level and should be suited to this trip and grade now. Forbidden City (6) is racing well in handy races and gets her chance to break through for another win.
