RACE 6 (9) FLOW: Carried 58kg when he resumed with an excellent second over this course and distance on November 18 when beaten a nose by the in-form Redouble. Has some excellent form around him in previous campaigns including his unlucky third in the G3 Sunshine Coast Guineas in July and his first-up effort points to this being his best prep. He won easily over this trip when second-up in heavy going in June and with a 4kg drop in weight and the advantage of the rails draw is well placed to make the necessary improvement off his first-up second.

RACE 7 (12) SINGLE BULLET: No horse looks better placed on this program under the Benchmark conditions than this G2 Pago Pago Stakes winner as he will be carrying 2kg under the limit after the 3kg claim for apprentice Lee Marjorian. Certain to appreciate the drop in weight and class from his excellent run of placings in Group company over the spring and comes into this race fresh off a strong hitout in a recent trial. Should get all the favours from his soft draw.

RACE 9 (14) BASTIA: Looked good when he resumed with a runaway win over 1500m carrying 61.5kg at Port Macquarie on November 16 that sets him up nicely for a crack at this moderate city class. Showed he was up to winning a race of this standard with a strong run of metropolitan placings from 1400m to 1900m in June and July and his first-up win indicates his top trainer Kris Lees has him coming back to town in the right from to make an impression.
