RACE 1 (8) PROBLEM SOLVER: Returns home from his breakthrough win first-up in the Magic Millions Maiden at the Gold Coast, a race that is never easy to win and invariably produces quality performers. It was just his fourth start, he ran a brilliant 1.08.87 to be the fastest of the three 1200m winners on the day and four subsequent winners have already come out of the race. Can only improve off such a strong maiden performance.

RACE 3 (2) FIESTA: Luckless placings in her first two starts at Randwick in the spring in the Gimcrack Stakes and Kirkham Plate stamped her as a filly of high potential. Sets up nicely for her first start on her home track after two recent impressive trials efforts without blinkers. Significantly the top stable makes the move to add them for this race and she will be hard to beat from her inside gate with her main rivals drawn wide.

RACE 7 (5): TRAPEZE ARTIST: Already has wins in the G1 Golden Rose and G3 Black Opal on his record, races he dominated by big margins when blinkers were applied. No surprise that they go back on for this suitable first-up target after he trialled without them at this course on January 22 when he never came off the bit and could have gone quicker beating a high class lot over 900m. He’s a proven first-up winner and maps to enjoy a kind run off the back of genuine speed. (NOTRE: Change in track conditions important - bracket with (2) Global Glamour)
