ROSEHILL MULTI

RACE 2 (5) GREATER HARLEM: Made a positive impression on debut when he put in his best work over the last 100m when runner-up Overpass over 1100m at Warwick Farm on April 28. He's been back to the trials since that effort while Overpass underlined the strength of the form by winning again. Can see nothing but upside for this stylish youngster over a trip he is certain to appreciate.

RACE 4 (6) BLONDEAU: Went to a new high first-up at Gosford on May 8 when he showed a great turn of foot in the soft ground to sprint away from his rivals for an impressive 3.5 lengths win over 1200m. He's been an enigma but it seems he may now have turned the page and even with a 3kg rise in weight he will get conditions to suit on his home track. Confident he will progress as he recorded his first two wins when racing second-up.

RACE 6 (9) GREEN FLASH: Promising Redoute's Choice 3YO is getting a typical Chris Waller preparation that points to him coming into his own as his distances increase. He was having only his third career start when he split runners late for a strong second to stablemate Grace And Harmony over 1550m on the Kensington track on April 25, form that has since been franked by the winner going to success in black type company. The step up to 2000m on his bigger home track comes at just the right time, noting that he was scratched from an easier midweek event to target this race.

TRIAL POINTERS

RANDWICK May 13: Annabel Neasham's French 2000 Guineas winner OLMEDO is in good order to go on from his last start Listed win in Brisbane judging by the way he worked through the line to finish second in the fastest 1040m heat (62.97; 35.30). He had plenty to offer over the last 200m when he ranged up to the speedy leader STOICAL – a subsequent winner - but Jason Collett kept him under wraps and only asked him to extend late. The robust front runner JAZZLAND has been hard to follow at times but he also looks in top order to resume after an impressive win in the 1200m heat.

NEWCASTLE May 5: Hugh Bowman made the trip from Sydney to ride All Star Mile winner MUGATOO in the only 1200m heat and it was an obvious conditioning trial against much lesser performed rivals. He settled at the back before pulling his way to the line to finish a well held fourth.

RANDWICK May 3: CHARRETERA (63.19; 34.14) looked in good form winning in his 1050m heat.

HAWKESBURY May 10: The Godolphin youngster WHEEL showed he had come on nicely from his race debut with a sharp heat win (47.69; 33.26). s.

NEWCASTLE April 19: The Jason Deamer-trained 2YO MONSIGNOR went quick on the rail to post the fastest time in the five 2YO heats over 800m (49.65; 34.76). COMPASSIONATE was another 2YO showing good potential.
