ROSEHILL MULTI
RACE 2 (5) SOLAR APEX: The Waller stable holds the big hand in this field with multiple chances but happy to side with this very fit son of the late champion Deep Impact. He has progressed strongly in his three starts this prep, winning twice at Gosford over 1600m and 1900m before a game third behind stablemate Yiyi over 2000m at Randwick where he endured the toughest run in a fast run race but still made ground over the last 400m under 57kg. Stays in the same class and is sure to appreciate racing on his home track where he has had just one previous start for a 1400m placing early in his career.
RACE 6 (2) MASKED CRUSADER: You have to stick with the elite Everest form and the horse who charged to the line for an outstanding second, running the fastest late sectionals. In fact he was 3.5 lengths quicker than the rest of the field over the last 600m and was fastest over the last 200m by 0.42 seconds, times that state he simply wins this contest with the extra 100m in his favour if maintains that form. His habit of missing the start is always a worry but he will drop on the leaders here if he keeps them in range.
RACE 8 (6) DELEXO: When sprinters are running track records you know they are in their prime and that's the case with his rapidly improving 4YO. His natural speed saw him smash the clock for an impressive last start win in BM 72 company over 1000m on the Kensington track at Randwick for his third win in four starts since he resumed in September. All his wins have been at 1000m but the manner of his latest success when he extended easily over the last 200m to score by 2.5 lengths with plenty in hand suggests he will take plenty of running down on a firm Rosehill surface with the rail in the true.

TRIAL POINTERS
ROSEHILL October 22: Group winner ROCK showed he had trained on well since his good Epsom Handicap performance, working to the line strongly to finish third in the fastest open heat over 1030m won by Super Vino (62.33; 35.02). Maidens to go into the blackbook from this session included CAPTIVARE.
RANDWICK October 19: A super trial by the Epsom winner PRIVATE EYE showed that he remains in rude health. He reeled off a fast last 200m to steam home into third place in a strong open heat over 1045m (63.31; 33.91) won in good style by the classy DAWN PASSAGE, another who has trialled impressively in preparation for the start of his summer campaign. RIODINI bounced back from his Epsom flop to dominate the fastest of the two 1200m heats (72.69; 34.38). BALLISTIC LOVER is another in peak form, showing she had maintained her speed and fitness after two excellent performances in Melbourne. She flew over 742m in her short course heat to win by almost five lengths in brilliant time (41.71; 31.54).
HAWKESBURY October 18: James Cummings would have been pleased with the winning trial of his quality mare KATALIN in her open heat over 1000m, doing it easily from the front in moderate time (62.85; 34.79).
WARWICK FARM October 15: MONTE DITTO won a strong open heat over 740m (43.45; 33.37) after all heats were transferred to the Polytrack due to weather conditions. Several runners behind him took the eye, not the least being STARSTRUCK BARBIE.
ROSEHILL October 11: SELBUROSE surged home from the rear to clock the fastest time in his 900m heat (55.23; 35.69) with stablemate SELEQUE given a quiet ride before taking the eye late with the way she ran through the line.
