TRIAL POINTERS

WARWICK FARM November 4: Everest runner INGRATIATING had an easy time in his open heat over 797m (46.32; 32.62), finishing a soft fourth.

RANDWICK October 28: NULLIFY made a nice return in her first trial since August. She looked in good form peeling across the heels of the leaders in her 1050m heat (64.14; 35.52) and showing a sharp turn of foot to put them away under the lightest of rides from Tommy Berry. Looks close to a win after six placings in 14 starts. The open heats over 740m saw a nice effort from the winner WATEGOS (44.61; 33.95). Among maidens with good prospects is the 1050m heat winner ROYAL MERCHANT (63.75; 36.05).

NEWCASTLE October 25: Winners with good prospects include the 900m heat winners BANJETTA (56.69) and REATEROS (56.54).

ROSEHILL October 21: The speedy BOOMSONG posted the fastest time of the session (53.64; 34.01) winning her 900m heat by an easy 3.35 lengths. Well placed in provincial sprints over 1000m.

WARWICK FARM October 18: Lightly raced Capitalist mare MY ELOISE is ready to pick up her maiden after working well within herself for an impressive second in a fast 812m heat won by the smart former Victorian LA SOPHIA (47.67; 34.13). Both mares can be followed with confidence. The maiden heats will throw up their share of winners, JOYRIDER and ROYAL MERCHANT being among others with positive futures.
