TRIAL POINTERS

WYONG July 10: In the open trials the last start winner GARRISON showed he had trained on well by doing all that was required for a soft win in his 1000m heat (59.78; 34.64) while a fresh DREAMDEEL sprinted to a big win in his 845m heat (50.53; 34.02), sharp work for a gelding not seen since he won over 1850m at Newcastle in April.

WARWICK FARM July 7: Expect sharp improvement next time I AM LETHAL goes to the races after an impressive win in his 798m heat (47.74; 33.40). Settled fourth before peeling three wide at the 400m where he extended smoothly and cruised to a clear lead before Tom Sherry took hold and let him coast through the line. Group winner GLINT OF SILVER worked nicely to win his 1200m heat 73.21; 35.145) with nice work behind him from TAJNEED (4th). In another 1200m heat there was a lot to like about the late work of WOLLOMBI (2nd). The better heat winners in the 2YO trials included SKY ARTIST in her heat over 788m (47.63; 34.75).

ROSEHILL July 4: SUNZOU controlled his 1030m heat from the front and responded well for a soft win in the faster of the two heats over the distance (63.78; 36.28).

CANTERBURY June 26: With nine 2YO heats there was plenty to take in with noted efforts from the heat winners MANNEQUIN, SHEHASATTITUDE and UNDIVIDED.

WARWICK FARM June 9: Unbeaten I Am Invincible filly DANCING ALONE looked sharp winning the fastest short course heat of the morning over 785m (45.94; 33.21) in her first trial since she won her first two starts in January and February. She settled three back on the rail, peeled off at the 300m and sprinted smoothly to the line for soft win.
