Japanese champion sire Heart's Cry (Sunday Silence) has been retired from stud duties at the age of 20.

The Shadai Farm-based sire has produced 51 satkes winners to date, with ten of those winning at Group / Grade 1 level including Cox Plate (Gr 1, 2040m) winner Lys Gracieux. He is now making a name for himself as a broodmare sire, with last year's Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Tagaloa (Lord Kanaloa) being out of one of his daughters.

Bred by Shadai Farm, Heart's Cry stood for a private fee this year.
