Annabel Neasham-trained Group 1 winner will race on next year
Newhaven Park announced their purchase of dual Group 1 winner Mo'Unga (Savabeel) from Aquis Farm on Wednesday via Twitter. The colt will race for his new owners in this weekend's All Aged Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) and Mo'Unga will remain in training with Annabel next season before retiring to stud for the 2023 breeding season.
Mo'Unga has won five of his 15 career starts to date with his best victories coming in the Rosehill Guineas (Gr 1, 2000m) last March before he added the Winx Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) first-up this season. The son of Savabeel (Zabeel) has not raced since he finished second in the Futurity Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) ast Caulfield in February.
Newhaven Park and partners are pleased to announce the purchase of dual G1 winner Mo’unga from @AquisFarm! He will race for Newhaven Park and partners this Saturday in the All Aged Stakes and will continue to race on with @ANeashamRacing before retiring to Newhaven Park in 2023. pic.twitter.com/qv0EZ6u8uT
