Inglis Easter is one of the world's premier yearling sales and this year's catalogue again includes a number of youngsters out of Group 1 winners, including the handful below who will have the spotlight shining brightly on them.

Lot 61 – Too Darn Hot x CATCHY filly: Bhima Thoroughbreds will offer the third foal out of the Blue Diamond winner, who is a daughter of Fastnet Rock. Catchy's second foal, a filly by Zoustar, was withdrawn from last year's Easter Sale, but the year before her first foal, an I Am Invincible filly by the name of Dakota Vroom who has had one start for a second placing to subsequent Stakes winner Parisal, sold for $1.2 million.

Lot 116 – I Am Invincible x ENGLISH colt: The All Aged Stakes and Doomben 10,000 winner was sent to I Am Invincible in her first breeding season and produced a colt who will be offered by Newhaven Park, whose colours English carried in her career, which also included second placings in a Golden Slipper and a T J Smith Stakes behind Chautauqua.

Lot 239 – Castelvecchio x MISS FINLAND colt: Miss Finland, a daughter of Redoute's Choice, has not produced anything that has reached the heights she scaled, but that might be an unfair benchmark given she won five Group 1 races, ranging from a Golden Slipper to a VRC Oaks. She is still a Group 1 producer, though, counting Thousand Guineas winner Stay With Me among the six foals she has had to the track. Her 2023 Easter offering is by Castelvecchio and will be offered by Arrowfield Stud. Stay With Me also has a colt in the catalogue, by Castelvecchio's sire Dundeel, who is a half-brother to classy filly Waltz On By.

Lot 310 – Snitzel x RESPONSE colt: This brown colt is a brother to 2018 Golden Slipper winner Estijaab – who sold for $1.7m – and the $2.25m colt who was the second most expensive yearling sold at this sale last year. He is the seventh foal from the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and Sangster Stakes winner, who also produced Remarque after a visit to Snitzel.

Lot 357 – Written Tycoon x SHOALS colt: Shoals is a member of one of the great families in the stud book, which is headlined by Redoute's Choice, and Arrowfield Stud is offering the second foal from the three-time Group 1 winner, a colt by the former Australian Champion Sire. Shoals' first foal, a two-year-old filly by I Am Invincible, is named Isthmus and is in training with Anthony and Sam Freedman, who trained Shoals to win an Empire Rose Stakes, Surround Stakes and Sangster Stakes at three.
