Inglis is preparing to offer one of its strongest Chairman's Sale catalogues yet with six Group 1 winners to be offered at the Riverside complex on Thursday night, but how do the Black Type performances stack up from a ratings perspective?

Below is a look at the better-performed mares to be offered, ranked by their peak Timeform rating.

122+ MONTEFILIA: Earned her peak rating when defeating Verry Elleegant in last year's Ranvet Stakes, having won the 2021 The Metropolitan in 119. The five-year-old daughter of Kermadec also rated 118 when second to She's Ideel in the 2021 Kingston Town Stakes and 117 when fourth in last year's Caulfield Cup, giving her the four highest ratings recorded by any mare up for grabs.

116 GRACEFUL GIRL: The daughter Nicconi recorded one of the most convincing wins in the history of the G1 Winterbottom Stakes, cruising home by almost three lengths from Stageman and Elite Street, in what was a clear career peak.

115+ ICEBATHThe daughter of Sacred Falls' biggest win came in last year's G1 Empire Rose Stakes at Flemington, rating 111+, but the Brad Widdup-trained mare ran seven higher ratings in defeat, including 115+ when second to Anamoe in last year's G1 George Main Stakes and 115 when third in last year's G1 Doncaster Mile.

115 NIMALEE: A daughter of So You Think, Nimalee won last year's G1 Queen Of The Turf in 114, but her career peak came last spring when she went 115 to defeat Palaisipan in the G2 Golden Pendant.

115 INSPIRATIONAL GIRLBoasts a win over Zaaki in the G2 Blamey Stakes, when awarded a figure of 109+, but the Reliable Man seven-year-old's best rating came in her two-length romp in the 2020 Railway Stakes.

115 SWATS THATHer best winning figure was 110 out of the G3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes, but the five-year-old daughter of Shamus Award boasts a 114s when placed behind Nature Strip in Group 1 sprints up the Flemington straight, while her career peak of 115 came when fourth in last year's Black Caviar Lightning fought out by Home Affairs and Nature Strip.

114 ELECTRIC GIRLThe daughter of Declaration Of War enjoyed a breakout six-year-old season, winning the G2 Millie Fox Stakes in 112, and posting an equal career-high number in defeat. Her G1 Canterbury Stakes third place earned her a mark of 114, which matched the figure she ran when a narrow second to Shades Of Rose in the G2 Sheraco Stakes.

112 MONTYOYA'S SECRET: The daughter of High Chaparral won the G1 Vinery Stakes in 112 but has already been through a broodmare sale, selling for $875,000 at the 2018 National Broodmare Sale. She will be offered this week in-foal to Home Affairs.

112 TRALEE ROSEThe daughter of Tavistock gave connections a huge thrill when she went around in the 2021 Melbourne Cup, but sadly she was severely injured in that event, meaning she never really got a chance to better her career peak of 112, which came in the G3 Geelong Cup the start before the Melbourne Cup.

111 LANKAN STARThe daughter of Nicconi only won two races, both in a rating of 94, but was only half-a-length off being a Blue Diamond winner, beaten by Lyre in 2019, a performance that earned her a rating of 111. She will be sold in-foal to last year's leading first season sire Russian Revolution.

110 MILEVACan reliably be considered a 110 mare with her two biggest wins, the Listed Alinghi Stakes and Listed Kensington Stakes, both coming out at that mark along with her narrow second placing to subsequent Group 1 winner Bella Nipotina in the Listed Carlyon Stakes.

The mares rated 110 or above are just some of the well-performed gallopers to be offered with Dosh, I'll Have A Bit, Mrs Danvers, Mrs Orb and Amasenus among the 109-raters being sold, while Peron, Originator, Tricky Gal and Scorched Earth are among those to have gone 108 at least once.
