Classique Legend's younger half-sister I Am Famous has been well-supported to post her maiden win at start number two at Randwick this Saturday.

The Chris Waller-trained galloper went up $10 in TAB's first market on the $150,000 Inglis Race Series Closing Handicap (1400m) but was in to $6.50 by midday on Friday.

The grey filly, who is by I Am Invincible, is the fifth foal from the Encosta De Lago mare Pinnochio.

She is best known as the dam of Classique Legend (Not A Single Doubt), winner of The Everest in 2020, but also Aethero (Sebring), who was a winner of five of nine in Hong Kong before being prematurely retired.

The deeds of that pair played no small part in I Am Famous selling for $2 million at last year's Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

She made her debut at Warwick Farm on June 28 when a 3-1/4-length third in a two-year-old fillies' event won by Taormina.

I Am Famous is one of two Waller-trained bluebloods engaged in the Randwick opener, to be joined by Marenaro, a half-brother to Home Affairs, who Waller trained to win a Coolmore Stud Stakes and Black Caviar Lightning.

Marenaro, a $540,000 Easter yearling, is by Dundeel and also debuted at Warwick Farm on June 28, finishing fifth in the two-year-old colts and geldings maiden.

The Waller pair are not the only runners in Saturday's race who have well-performed relations with the Michael Freedman-trained Pirate, a son of Merchant Navy and Elusive Wonder, a half-brother to Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner and Golden Slipper runner-up Away Game.

The Autumn Sun filly Private Legacy is the third foal from Private Secretary, a daughter of Husson who won eight of 22 starts, including a $1m Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Sprint, for Greg Hickman, who is also the trainer of Private Legacy.

Private Legacy is a $10 chance with Pirate and Marenaro $31 and $34 respectively in the market headed by the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained The Little Pumper ($3.80), a son of Shalaa.
