There will be a new name in the racebook when Militarize steps out in next weekend's Caulfield Guineas with Arrowfield Stud buying into the three-time Group 1 winner.

Newgate Farm on Friday announced it had welcomed Arrowfield into the ownership of the three-year-old, who is a son of popular Arrowfield stallion Dundeel.

"Miltarize is an elite racehorse with an elite pedigree and we feel honoured to welcome Arrowfield Stud into the ownership," Newgate's Henry Field said.

"The power of the Arrowfield broodmare band coupled with the broodmares owned by the many outstanding breeders in our colts partnership will give Militarize an unparalleled opportunity when retires to stud at the completion of his racing days."

Militarize took his record to four wins from seven starts with his 1400m Golden Rose win, which swelled his earnings to more than $1.7 million, having won the ATC Sires' (1400m) at Champagne Stakes (1600m) at two.

He is favourite for the $3 million Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) and is rated the best three-year-old chance in this year's $5 million Group 1 Cox Plate (2040m).
