The catalogue for next year’s Premier Yearling Sale has been released.
Inglis is confident next year's Premier Yearling Sale again has the potential to produce winners of a variety of feature races in Australia after compiling the catalogue for the 2024 offering.
Exactly 800 youngsters make up the book for next year's sale, which has been broken up into a 560-lot Premier session and 240-lot Showcase session, with the catalogue released on Monday morning.
Think About It, Griff and Attrition were spring carnival feature winners from this year who were sold at Inglis with the legendary Black Caviar and Nature Strip among the other graduates.
"I think it is a testament to the regard in which this sale is held by the market that buyers flock to it from across Australia and beyond in the expectation of finding horses that will go on to be outstanding racehorses, rather than in hope," Inglis' Victorian bloodstock manager James Price said.
"In that context, the sale is very much the quiet achiever of the Australian sales circuit – the graduate success, in recent years in particular, has been quite extraordinary.
"Whether it is two-year-olds, Stakes winners, big money earners, fillies and mares or colts who go on to become stallions, Premier delivers all of the above year in year out and I expect the 2024 catalogue will provide plenty more success stories.
"A tremendously broad cross section of leading Victorian breeders are represented in the sale and it is particularly pleasing to have strong representation from two of the most exciting young stallions in Australia at the moment, Alabama Express and Blue Point, both of whom are Victorian-based."
Alabama Express and Blue Point are among 126 sires represented in the catalogue with established local superstars I Am Invincible, Snitzel, Extreme Choice, Zoustar, Exceed And Excel, Written Tycoon and So You Think also represented, along with UK legend Frankel.
The 2024 Premier Yearling Sale will be held at Oaklands Junction from March 3 to 5.
