Despite the exploits of Te Akau Shark and Jennifer Eccles, Rip Van Winkle (Galileo) will stand at Windsor Park in New Zealand for an unchanged fee of NZ$12,500 (plus GST) in 2020.

The Jamie Richards-trained Te Akau Shark has landed a brace of Group 1s this season, taking out the Waikato Sprint (Gr 1, 1400m) in February, before being sent across the Tasman, where he landed the Chipping Norton Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m) later that month.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Eccles - who only cost NZ$5,000 at the New Zealand Bloodstock National Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Bloodstock Sale - showed her class when she landed the New Zealand Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m), having posted a good second place finish in the New Zealand 2,000 Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) earlier in the season.

Once again the son of Galileo (Sadler's Wells) will be joined in the roster by shuttler Charm Spirit (Invincible Spirit) - whose progeny have enjoyed a good season on the track, siring four stakes winners, headed by Group 2 winner Fascino and his fee will be offered price on application basis for the upcoming breeding season.

"With his first-crop three-year-old's running this season, Charm Spirit has already sired four Group winners in both Australia and New Zealand and he's got numerous highclass horses to represent him next season," Windsor Park studmaster Rodney Schick.

Shamexpress (O'Reilly) - who has sired 22 winners this season, will stand for a reduced fee of NZ$8,000 (plus GST), having stood the 2019 season for a fee of NZ$12,500 (plus GST), while Mongolian Khan (Holy Roman Emperor) will stand for NZ$10,000 (plus GST).

Completing the Windsor Park lineup are three young stallions, Turn Me Loose (Iffraaj), Vanbrugh (Encosta De Lago) and Rageese (Street Cry), who all have their first crop of two-year-old's racing next season, with Turn Me Loose set to stand for NZ$10,000 (plus GST) while Vanbrugh (Encosta De Lago) and Rageese (Street Cry) will both be offered to breeders for NZ$5,000 (plus GST).

"Next season will be an exciting time for us with our young stallion lineup as they will be represented throughout Australia and New Zealand with their first two and three year old crops to race," said Schick.
