Handy enough efforts of late in better company than this and comes up with a good draw to make use of. Should be handy to the speed throughout and in these kind of races that can be paramount to the chances. Has to go close.

Big and bold last time to get the win last time to the races after some strong form prior. Should go on with and do a good job. Not a huge step up here and should be able to land in a handy enough position to make a serious claim at back-to-back victories.

4 Irish Whispers

Is sure to have taken plenty of benefit out of the first up run. Has always had plenty of ability and with that natural improvement should be ready to strike tonight in what is an even looking field. Good enough draw to make the most of too so ticks another box.

Race 4
4 Papenhuyzen

Near enough in all runs to the races so far and most of it in quality opposition too. Should find this a whole lot easier. Good draw to work with here and if able to land in a handy position early should be in a position from which to launch an attack.

9 Kimkar Dash

Really good win two starts back and then an excellent fourth last time around at Alexandra Park. Only 10m off in the handicaps for this and if able to bring the good manners to the party and land in a forward enough position might have too much class for this field.

Race 6
7 Caufield

Has strong enough form in better fields than this in the last handful of starts and can be a big and robust type who could roll around them early here and find the front. If that happens then they might be racing for second.

9 Pandora

Took a while to break the maiden status, but had been excellent in pretty all much runs prior to that too. Can go on with it now that the win is on the board and even from the second row draw here tonight looks a really strong chance in an even field.

6 Lincoln Cove

Subject of a decent sized betting plunge that came unstuck through some bad luck fresh up. Plenty of merit in the performance to run second though. Still a bit enigmatic, but there's no denying the motor and if he rocks up in the right frame of mind, should win.
