6 Dresse' Par Joli
We haven't seen her for 362 days since her excellent debut performance so there may have been some issues in between time. However, in her debut she was well backed and was hampered at the start putting her back of midfield before finishing off strongly behind the talented La Santana. The debut has stood up well form wise and you can be assured that she will be ready to go even fresh at the 1600m. She is drawn awkwardly but she has McNab in the saddle which is always a bonus. I expect her to be competitive today and only improve going forward.

8 Platinum Privilege
I have liked his progression in the two starts this preparation especially the last start when they rode the horse back and allowed her to finish off strongly. Today, from her draw and the lack of exposed speed in the race I expect them to be positive which should see her in the trail and a major player from there. Keep Whooska safe in your multiples as she was a good winner at the Levin Jump outs recently.

1 Truth Or Dare
Pretty simple process here with the Tangerine 2yo's historically when they travel like today it is a winner. He was purchased for $120k out of the ready to run sale and looks ready to go after a couple of nice trial victories. He was still a little green at his most recent trial, but you will love him when you see him with the big white blaze and 4 white socks very striking.

Race 4
4 Linara
He has come to NZ from Australia and his one and only start there was a close-up 2nd at Grafton. He trailed well on speed at Foxton recently and the winner of that trail was Vavoom who won at Tauherenikau and 3rd was Guzzler who should be hard to beat wherever he goes. That map looks good with a nice spot in the first half dozen available and he should keep up a strong gallop fresh at 1200m. If you want a saver in the race I'd think about Bodacious Kate if they let her run and not fight her then she is well capable of winning.

Race 5
10 Uplifting
She is a lightly raced 3yo filly who has shown a lot of promise in her 3 starts to date. On debut she was flying late at the 1600m, then she was very unlucky in a nice form race before running home nicely over ground first time of asking. This race lacks any real exposed form that matches hers, so she looks ideally suited today. She is currently $3.2, and I expect that to disappear the closer to start time we get.

Race 6
10 Vespacian
I have been really happy when reviewing the last couple of race day starts as they suggest that she is starting to come back into some of her better form if you ignore her run on a Heavy track last start. Her best performance ratings would win this race clearly and she is dropping back today in company. This looks the ideal race to just let her set her own speed in front and she can win in my mind at a big price.

Race 7
9 Terra Petra
She was a little disappointing at Trentham after being one of the better backed on the day and Allan had confidence that she could win. However, her sectionals suggest it wasn't a run you could be too disappointed in, and she is meeting a much weaker field today. Her run behind Witz End at Trentham suggested she was well above average and a return to winning form today would be no surprise.

Race 8
11 It's Doris
Just put a line through her last start when she was caught off the track for the entire race and deserved to finish further back than she did. She should be able to find the front from her draw and if she is to take on the Black Type that Robbie is intending then you would expect her to be a touch quick. She is being offered at a great price of $6.5 and she is clearly my value on the day.
