The second day of Goffs November Foal Sale saw robust trade throughout resulting in an 84% clearance rate and marked increases in all the key indicators with turnover up 52% and rises of 23% and 40% in average and median respectively over the corresponding 2020 session.

The top lot was a son of Coolmore Stud's Camelot (Montjeu) from Airlie Stud (Lot 434) that was knocked down to Camas Park Stud for €170,000.  The colt is out of a winning sister to Group One winning two-year-old Chelsea Rose (Desert King) who topped the Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale in 2012 before going on to produce dual Group One winner Champion Kew Gardens (Galileo).

The day began on a strong note with the second foal of the day, a colt by Darley shuttler Exceed And Excel (Danehill) (Lot 247) out of a Listed placed dam from The Castlebridge Consignment on behalf of Shadwell Estate Company, selling for €130,000 to Tally Ho Stud.

A second six-figure Camelot foal was Lot 320 from Stanley Lodge, the first foal out of a sister to Group winner Max Vega (Lope De Vega), that was bought by Aughamore Stud and Howson & Houldsworth for €120,000.

Yeomanstown also acquired a Zoustar (Northern Meteor) colt from Airlie Stud (Lot 269), one of a trio of foals to make €90,000 – with a Kodiac (Danehill) filly out of a sister to several stakes winners, including Group Two winner Centennial (Dalakhani) (Lot 323), from Phoenixtown Stud purchased by RC Bloodstock and a Ten Sovereigns (No Nay Never) colt from Castletown Stud (Lot 378) that made €90,000 selling to JR Bloodstock.
