The top four lots to sell at Magic Millions on Tuesday were all fillies. In addition to the session topping $950,000 Zoustar (Northern Meteor) filly, three lots sold for $900,000; the Coolmore Stud-consigned Justify (Scat Daddy) filly out of Global Glamour (Star Witness), the Yulong-sold Zoustar filly out of Gold And Diamonds (Fastnet Rock) who was bought by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and the I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) filly out of Harlem River (Fastnet Rock) who was purchased by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock from the draft of Newgate Farm.

Ciaron Maher Bloodstock finished the first day as the leading buyers having spent $4,625,000 on 12 yearlings. Purchasers of three of the ten top priced lots, their most expensive buy was the Zoustar filly who was sold by Yulong as Lot 82. She is the second foal out of the unraced Fastnet Rock (Danehill) mare Gold And Diamonds whose first foal, Authentic Jewel (I Am Invincible) is a winner and stakes placed.

Authentic Jewel was bought by BK Racing and Guy Mulcaster for $650,000 at the Gold Coast two years ago and has now won four times and placed in a further two of her nine career starts. Yulong bought Gold And Diamonds at the 2018 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $800,000.

20 lots later, Newgate Farm offered the I Am Invincible filly out of Harlem River as Lot 102. The filly is the fourth foal out of the Listed winning Fasnet Rock mare Harlem River who has produced the winner Vancouver River (Vancouver) and the stakes placed filly Lady Harlem (Sebring). The filly was bought by Victorian-based bloodstock agent Sheamus Mills and was the agent's sole purchase on Tuesday.

The filly meanwhile was one of five lots by Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible to sell on Tuesday with the stallion's aggregate finishing on $2,430,000 at an average of $486,000.

The most expensive colt to sell on Tuesday was a son of Newgate Farm's Deep Field out of 2016 Myer Classic (Gr 1, 1600m) winner I Am A Star (I Am Invincible) who was bought by Shane Nichols for $800,000.

Nichols trained I Am A Star and the Deep Field colt is the mare's first foal.

"$800,000 is $800,000, it's hard to earn with a pick and shovel, but I knew we were going to get pushed a bit and I thought $600,000 to $800,000 was probably his range," Nichols said.

"He's a pretty nice colt, she's produced a good one first go.

"She wasn't a big horse so he's going to be a more masculine version of her I suppose but a nice, neat horse and I'm pretty sure he'll be able to run.

"I'm relieved that it's over and we were able to buy him, now I've just got to sell him."
