Tattersalls announced on Tuesday that the catalogue for their 2022 July Sale, which will be held from July 6 - 8 at Park Paddocks in Newmarket, is now online.

A total of 852 lots have been catalogued for the sale which comprises 721 horses and fillies in/out of training and 131 broodmares, six of which have foals at foot. Cheveley Park Stud, Coolmore, Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms, Lanwades Stud and Shadwell Estates all have drafts, while Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates have 96 lots catalogued between them.

Amongst the highlights of the broodmares is Group 1 winner Chachamaidee (Footstepsinthesand), herself the dam of Group 3 winner and dual Group 2 placed Klassique (Galileo), in foal to exciting young sire Mohaather (Showcasing). The daughter of Footstepsinthesand (Giant's Causeway) will be consigned by DVA Equine Services alongside her Galileo (Sadler's Wells) daughter For Henry, a sister to Klassique in foal to Advertise (Showcasing).

Including in this year's Godolphin draft is German Champion filly and multiple Group winner Antara (Platini), the dam of Group 3 winner Algiers (Shamardal), in foal to dual European Champion Palace Pier (Kingman).

Commenting on the 2022 Tattersalls July Sale, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said; "Quality and diversity are the hallmarks of the Tattersalls July Sale which has long been established as Europe's premier midsummer sale and this year's catalogue holds plenty of appeal for buyers from throughout the world, whatever their requirements.

"In 2021 mares bought for as little as 8,000 guineas from the July Sale produced Group 1 and 2 winners in America, Australia, Canada, Dubai, Great Britain and Japan and this year's Tattersalls July Sale catalogue features the usual compelling combination of well-bred fillies and in foal mares as well as high class horses in training, all of which look set to attract plenty of interest from domestic and international buyers alike."
