Sweet Idea is the definition of rating’s special as she resumes in the $100,000 Wyong Magic Millions 3YO Stakes on Thursday.

The Gai Waterhouse-trained filly returns after a narrow second in the Silver Shadow Stakes behind Thump and post race was found to have bled.

Her run was full of merit under the circumstances and was awarded a Timeform figure of 113.

It came in as a new peak for the daughter of Snitzel who as a two-year-old won the Silver Slipper (1100m) while also placing in the Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) and the Golden Slipper (1200m).

Sweet Idea now resumes in an event lacking depth where her nearest rival on ratings sits ten pounds shy.

Her 1050m trial win at Randwick on December 2 gave every indication she has returned in good order and is largely expected to be firing fresh.

Furthermore, it should be clinical with the filly either leading or sitting outside of it.

Class should then prevail in the straight.

Sweet Idea is going around at short odds but she really does get the race made to order.

Weinholt shapes as the clear main danger however either must improve noticeably on his best or need Sweet Idea to be off her game.

The Peter Moody-trained galloper performed well without winning during the Melbourne spring with a four length fifth in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude his best performance assessed at 105.

He looked sharp during a 727m Randwick trial win and can at least make things sporting if Hugh Bowman stays right on the back of Sweet Idea throughout.

It is hard to see anything outside this pair taking out the $100,000 feature at Wyong on Thursday with Dream Forward shaping as the best of the rest.

The Darren Smith-trained filly has shown real promise during her four career outings to date.

While not in the same league as Sweet Idea or Weinholt, the daughter of Charge Forward does look to have the rest of the field safely held based on 12 month weight adjusted Timeform ratings.

A juvenile winner at Canterbury, her best career outing came when a close fifth in the Reginald Allen Quality (1400m) during the spring.
