Features in recent weeks have gone to the boys in blue and once again stables Appleby and Suroor saddle large numbers in the main races on the Meydan card tonight.

One of those races is the Group Three Nad Al Sheba Trophy where Godolphin are responsible for four of the eight runners but it is one that won't be wearing blue who interests us most this week.

That horse is Away He Goes who could easily be marked favourite in a fairly modest Group Three but finds himself third pick in the early betting.

Away He Goes had the two that sit ahead of him in the betting, Volcanic Sky and Ispolini, behind when making his Meydan debut and then ran a stomer last time out behind Star Safari who is a dominant favourite in the Dubai Millienium Stakes also run on tonight's card.

His late splits there marked him down as being every bit as good as the winner and the race outrated the race won by Dubai Future - the path to tonight taken by both Volcanic Sky and Ispolini.

Ispolini did win this race last year, and can come here fitter for a couple of runs back, but it seems a bit rich that the pair are trading inside Away He Goes on the strength of last start performances and at prices around 11/4 Away He Goes appeals as a good gamble.

As mentioned, Star Safari comes up very short in the Dubai Millenium and, good as he was last time, he can be left along coming back in trip which isn't sure to suit.

The other feature on the card is the Meydan Classic for the three-year-olds where we see the return of Master Of The Seas. He's far too short to be a betting proposition but he was smart last season, smart enough to be send around 2/1 in a National Stakes, and certainly adds some interest to the card as he looks sure to be aimed at major races on the course of 2021.

Recommended Bets: Back Away He Goes in the Nad Al Sheba Trophy
