Morgan Has, who showed ability in a pair of placed efforts over hurdles, impressed on steeplechase debut at Pau. The François Nicolle-trained three-year-old made all the running, jumping quickly and accurately in the main while barely coming out of second gear to win easily without coming off the bridle. This nicely bred son of Great Pretender will be all the rage next time when stepping up in class and remains an exciting chase prospect for his leading trainer.
