Lin Min Chen features at Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse Day this Sunday

Sa Sa Ladies’ Purse Day (Photo 1), presented by The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Sa Sa International Holdings Limited, will be staged on Sunday, 5 November at Sha Tin Racecourse.

Accompanying the on-track action, which is highlighted by the HK$4.2 million G3 Sa Sa Ladies' Purse Handicap (1800m), the day features a spectacular line-up of on-course activities in the theme of "Race In Style" to mark the occasion, including the appearance of Lin Min Chen (Photo 2) as this year's Sa Sa Ladies' Purse Day Ambassador.

All racegoers entering either Sha Tin or Happy Valley before 3.30pm will receive a designated souvenir brooch (Photo 3), while stocks last.

Lin Min Chen to attend trophy presentation and 'Best Turned Out Horse'

The day's highlight is the prestigious Sa Sa Ladies' Purse, scheduled to be run as Race 7 (4.05pm). Dr Belinda Lo, daughter of Mr Philip K W Lo, a Steward of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, will officiate at the trophy presentation ceremony. This year's Sa Sa Ladies' Purse Day Ambassador Lin Min Chen will be in attendance alongside Chairman and CEO of Sa Sa International Holdings Limited Dr Simon Kwok Siu Ming SBS JP and Vice-Chairman Dr Eleanor Kwok Law Kwai Chun BBS JP to present the prize for the Sa Sa Ladies' Purse's 'Best Turned Out Horse', as well as commemorative trophies to the feature race's winning connections, at the Parade Ring and Winning Enclosure, respectively.

Following the trophy presentation, Lin Min Chen will have a meet and greet with fans at the Digital Zone.

Best Dressed Award offers the chance to win fabulous prizes

The on-course events include the Best Dressed Award, special offers at the Sa Sa Beauty Bazaar, thematic delicacies and new generation girl band WHIZZ will perform their own songs and Cantopop favourites live in the Public Betting Hall.

Ten races are programmed for the day, with the first race scheduled for 1pm. Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 11am on Sunday, 5 November. Please refer to terms and conditions for event details.
