Today and Tomorrow of the China Horse Industry

HORFA2016 China Horse Industry Conference and Fair will be held on April 14-15 in Shanghai.

We will discuss the opportunities and challenges during the two-day conference and focus on the investment opportunities, equestrian clubs’ and ranches construction as well as equestrian clubs’ management.

The aim of HORFA is to help investors and developers know the horse industry better and establish a platform for investors, developers, industry vendors and equestrian clubs. Followings are the main conference topics:

I. Market Analysis

Here we will discuss three topics. Firstly, the Analysis of Today and Tomorrow of the China Horse Industry: Speaker will state the horse import fact and source, facts of Chinese horse owners, preferences of Chinese horse owners, growing equestrian demands. Secondly, the Comparison of Horse Industry between China and Foreign Countries: Speaker will compare China horse industry with Europe, Australia and USA to explain the shortage and problems occurred in China horse industry and estimate the growth space of China horse industry in the future. Finally, the introduction of the most important equestrian competitions in China: there’s a world of difference between the current equestrian competitions and the competitions before 5 years. If you know the most important equestrian competitions in China, you will know the growing equestrian demand in China.

II. Investment in China horse industry

Here we will have three sections. Firstly case study: what is a successful investment in China horse industry? One investor will be invited to talk about why he invested in China horse industry, what kind of problems he had and the income for the investment. Secondly round table: how to combine horse industry with the real estate and add its value? Many property developers have noticed the horse industry and some tried to establish a ranch in their property project such as Shanghai Greenland Island, Naked Retreats in Zhejiang Province. How about these ranches now? Are they really helpful for their property projects? How to position and plan a small ranch? We will invite a couple experts from real estate and horse industry to discuss together. Finally, half-day Press Conference of Important projects of China horse industry: currently there are many horse-related projects are being built or to be built, of which we will invite 3 or 4 projects to attend our HORFA and related persons in charge will present their construction requirement, purchasing demand and manpower demand.

III. Operation and management of equestrian clubs

Here we have total 5 topics. Firstly about the operation and profit mode of Chinese equestrian clubs: we will invite owners of equestrian clubs from Shanghai, Beijing and Central and western regions to discuss together in order to improve the level management of equestrian clubs and help new managers avoid problems as many as possible. Secondly case study: can we copy the mode of Heilan Equestrian Club? Heilan Equestrian Club is one of top clubs with highest investment grade and the most imported warm blood horses. We HORFA organized a post show tour to Heilan Equestrian club in 2013 and one of the delegates said “The visit to the spectacular Heilan Equestrian Club that followed HORFA 2013 - remains a most memorable experience. We would be interested in any opportunity to revisit Heilan”. Thirdly round table: who purchased imported horses and why? Imported horse purchasing is always the key point of club management and let’s talk about and analysis. The final two topics are about the China polo clubs and where the horse racing will go.

Above all, HORFA China Horse Industry Conference will establish a communication platform for investors, developers, industry experts and vendors and will drive more capital to the horse industry so that more demand can be created in the China horse industry.
