The Dubai World Cup meeting is set to enhance its status as the world’s richest race day with a prizemoney increase of $US5 million.

Total purses for the card, which features six Group 1 and three Group 2 contests, will now stand at $US35 million.

The feature Dubai World Cup (2000m) has received a $2 million boost taking it to $US12 million.

The winner of the race will take home $US7.2 million.

Other races on the card welcoming prizemoney increases are the Dubai Golden Shaheen (1200m) and the Al Quoz Sprint (1200m), whilst all the Group 2 events on the card will receive $US500,000 purse hikes.
