Talented sprinter AWESOME STORM looks primed to return to winning form in the 1100m Supreme A contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Awesome Storm  went close to repeating his 2022 G1 Tunku Gold Cup victory here a fortnight ago after trying to lead all the way in this year's edition. The five year set a solid tempo throughout before being overhauled to finish 2nd, beaten a half length in a time one second outside the course record.

Awesome Storm has established himself as one of the premier sprinters in the country with a local record of 8 wins from 15 starts and should prove hard to beat third up this campaign.
