RACE 1

ST ALWYN – Rarely misses when dropping back to class five and finds himself off a winning mark with Lerner taking the reins. Key player in this.

ZYGARDE – Last time he raced in this grade he scored a nice win at this track and distance back in March of this year. Recent runs have been encouraging.

SOUTHERN MASTER – Last start was full of merit running an eye catching second which was his best performance for some time. Form has held up with the winner running well last weekend. Nunes on a key booking.

RICH FORTUNE – Racing very consistently at his last few starts. Must overcome a wide barrier this weekend but has hit a real rare patch of form.

RACE 2

SANTINO – Comes out of that really strong Silo maiden race a few weeks back where he was a noted eye catcher. Should sit nice and handy from a favorable draw in four.

BAKEEL – Two-year-old gelding by USA sire Sioux Nation who was sharp winning his trial in moderate time but looks to show early promise. From a leading stable must respect.

CONDOR – Gets the services of visiting jockey Chad Schofield. Last run was a pass mark and he could really appreciate the switch to the turf surface this weekend. Watch the market with him.

PACIFIC COMMANDER – Doesn't have the best draw (11) this week but connections would be happy with the way he trialed coming into this. Will need plenty of luck early.

RACE 3

DIAZ – Claimed a strong victory in Open Maiden company last start and steps up to race proven company. Race has held up with multiple winners in behind and has trialled well behind one of the smarter juveniles in Singapore between runs, can go on with it.

LIM'S DENALI – Was a tad slow out of the machine and seemed to be on the back foot the whole way after that despite the featherweight. Worth giving a second chance, should be up to the task at this grade.

THUNDER STAR – Ran very slick sectionals last start and did it at both ends to lead all the way and win. Was lucky that Cash Cove missed the kick but the win still deserves a lot of respect.

MY MAN – Motored home late in the race last start and had he not be held up for a run late, he almost wins the race. Drops back to 1000m and onto the poly which has contested on only once before, place hope.

RACE 4

ARTILLERY – Copped a bump on jumping and settled further back than anticipated but was probably the run of the race and will be a leading chance in this event.

FIRE – Finished on the heels of Greatham Boy a couple of weeks ago and attacked the line strongly that day. Can only improve from that run and showed he has some ability on debut.

BIG MAX – Has race experience on his side with two very strong performances. Nunes has done plenty of work with this maidener and should show great early speed from his wide draw.

WAR STAR – On debut for the Jason Ong stable where he gets a lovely barrier in two for Aussie rider Daniel Moor. Should be able to position nicely from there and have something at the end.

RACE 5

SEE YAH – Two things go well together. This gelding and the 1400m distance races. His last win was strong over a mile but three of his six wins have come at the trip and with Nunes on will get plenty of support.

FIREWORKS – All seven of his career wins have come at this distance mixing over both long and short course. Has been over a year since his last win but is well down in the ratings now. One to watch.

COUNTRY BOSS – From his wide draw in 13 he will more than likely have to push forward from the gate and take up the early running. Simon Kok gets back aboard who was the steering partner when winning two runs ago.

BIG DAY – A winner of two of his last five starts around this mark. He has beaten most of these runners when at his peak and with a sharp drop in weight expect him to be there in the money.

RACE 6

DELILAH – Jumped and sat up on the speed last start where you think she will try and position up again this week from the wide draw. Stewart stays aboard and the rise to 1400m will suit.

RODA ROBOT – Stable have called upon the services of Nunes to get this six start maidener his first victory. Doesn't draw well in nine but the Brazilian champ has a way of making tough draws work.

SIRIUS – Brave performance behind Diaz in a moderate form race a few weeks back where he went down by just under a length. Moor has been booked and finds a subpar field this weekend. Top three player.

CITY GOLD WARRIOR – Has raced at this trip before where he was beaten six lengths at class four grade a few runs back. Has since had a trial and could inject some value to the exotics.

RACE 7

PACIFIC WARRIOR – Coming off a recent trial win after contesting the three year old series. Was far from disgraced in the final two legs and stays at a mile returning to class 4 company. Expecting to see him on speed, respect.

AXEL – It would be fair to say that this son of Darci Brahma hasn't had the best of luck in recent runs. Made up considerable ground last start and with pacific Warrior rolling them along her, he could give a sight from back in the field.

SHANGHAI STAR – Another horse much like Axel who will appreciate a rolling tempo. He takes a while to wind up in his runs and last start got caught wide without cover which didn't help his cause.

ENGINE START – Claimed his first win at class 4 after multiple attempts and did it in impressive fashion after getting a late split. Stays at the same grade and distance, a must for the exotics.

RACE 8

GOLD GOVERNOR – Will strip fitter second up after a nice Singapore debut behind Bransom. Gets the ace draw in one and a trip to the winner's circle looks well within reach.

STORM DEITY – Saifudin takes the booking over Zyrul who has been aboard in most of his runs. Ran a career best second last start and will look to improve off that. Not a strong race and will appreciate the drop back to open maiden level.

GALAXY BAR – Comes from the strong Burridge stable with one run under his belt. That was a nice fifth back a few weeks ago. Simon Kok on and could be met with good support.

TOP CONFIDENCE – Gets the four-kilogram claim for young Jamil and should sit nice and handy on the speed from his draw. Wasn't beaten too far last outing and holds claims.

RACE 9

CASH COVE – Missed away last start from a wide alley and it effectively cost him the race. Only race once over the 1000m for a second but the distance should be a query. If he jumps on terms, he will be hard to beat here.

ROCKETSHIP – Returns to favourite track and distance. Goes to another level over five furlongs, a must include for all exotics and a genuine threat this weekend.

GREATHAM GIRL – Never missed the top four in her four attempts at the track and trip. Fourth up and fit enough her to make an impression as top three contender.

TIME TRAVEL – Stable going incredibly well and despite not running in the top four year, 1000m looks the most ideal trip for him to do so, top four hope.

RACE 10

SACRED COMMAND – Won impressively on pace in his rise to class 3 on the poly. Looking to win his third straight race this weekend and is certainly capable on the surface having won on turf two starts back.

ELITE LEGEND – Rises to class 3 after a super win in class 4 last start. Won quite convincingly in good time, each way contender.

IN ALL HIS GLORY – Closed off impressively to be beaten 2.8 lengths in a hard fought contest. Stays at the same grade and distance, will be fitter for that last run, top three.

PENNYWISE – Will appreciate the switch back to the turf here which is the surface he has been racing better on of late. Last start got caught flat footed and didn't find his usual turn of foot, forgivable run, can atone.

RACE 11

SUPER SALUTE – Winner of the G3 Silver Bowl and heads hear hoping to keep the triple crown chances alive and claim his second G2. Was very impressive and despite the rise to a mile, looks the clear horse to beat.

GOLDEN MONKEY – Strong performance in behind Super Salute last start. Yet to win or race in Singapore over 1600m so the distance is a slight query. The horse should be peaking from a fitness point of view and this looks the ideal time to be tackling a mile.

INVINCIBLE TYCOON – Surprised may people in how close he finished last start in the first leg of the series. He is a horse who will appreciate the rise in distance over the next couple of legs. Big top three chance once again.

DREAM ALLIANCE – Raced well over a mile in the past. Got ran off his feet last start and this rise to the mile should suit his get back and run on pattern much better.

RACE 12

CHARMINTON – Led them up last start and was only beaten a slender margin after getting a little wayward late in the race. Meets Lim's Straight better at the weight this time around, can give a sight with cheap early sectionals.

LIM'S STRAIGHT – Won well last start in a tight three way go to the line. Had to fight to win, should take plenty of confidence from that win, top three chance again.

CITY GOLD STAR – Last start had plenty of merit. Has been to the trials since for a quiet look around the track. His two runs at the track and distance have been good enough to be winning a race of this calibre, each way all day.

VGOR – Finished a convincing third last start running away from the rest of the field chasing Paletas and Buuraq Sixty-One. Switch back to the turf isn't a concern, a must for the quartet.
