Partnered by apprentice Winston Cheah Wei Wen, the French gelding set the early PACE but surrendered the lead to ARC TRIUMPH who shot to the front passing the 1000m and immediately made a big break.

SINCERELY was eased back to second with KONG FU PANDA racing just behind him. The pair were level chasing the leader at the top of the straight.

When the leader folded at the 300m, SINCERELY and KONG FU PANDA went raced past him and went on to fight out the finish, with SINCERELY winning by a neck. It was a repeat of the Supreme B race over 1200m held here on May 14.

SINCERELY won three races and was placed thrice in seven starts in France, winning the listed Prix Millkom at Toulouse and was also placed in another listed race at three. He landed in Singapore targeting the big races.

SINCERELY won first-up in Class 3 at Kranji and had another win in Class 2. He also ran third behind SUPER DYNASTY in the Group 3 Colonial Chief Stakes in 2020.

He went amiss in the second half of 2021 and sat out the whole of the 2022 season during which he was transferred to Richard Lines.

After his first win in Malaysia last May, SINCERELY ran a smack-up seventh to SAN ANDREAS in the Tunku Gold Cup followed by a last-start third to AWESOME STORM two weeks ago.

Today was the first time the seven-year-old has gone over a bit of distance in Malaysia. It was his eighth start in the country.

"I am so happy with the win. The horse has a big heart and has been good to me," said Cheah who has now ridden him three times for two wins.

"Hopefully I can win a Cup on him one day. If all goes well, we hope to see him in the Penang Sprint Trophy (on July 30)."

"This horse has a heart as big as himself and rarely runs a bad race," said Lines. "Wintson gave him a peach of a ride and he thoroughly deserves the win."
