This year’s Group One Tunku Gold winner, San andreas appears well placed to bounce back to winning form in the 1500m Metro A contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

San andreas has maintained good form since his memorable victory in the group feature back in May, including a fast finishing 3rd in the G1 Penang Sprint Trophy two starts back. Last star the seven year old closed off well from midfield to finish 3rd behind talented performer, Awesome Storm on the inner track here a fortnight ago.

Despite his lack of early pace from the start, San Andreas  does possess a quick turn of acceleration which places him in good stead for a return to the winners podium this weekend.
