RACE 1

DR KARDO – Looks to be the horse to beat this weekend in his class 5 debut. Far from disgraced last start making good ground late.

TAKHI – Copped some interference late in the race at the crucial stage and still did will to finish within three lengths, one of the exotics.

SURFING CLOUD – Over-raced throughout in maiden company last start. This looks a little tougher, but he makes a case for a top three or four finish.

THE WILD PRINCE – Struggled his last few starts to find his best despite being in the right races. Provided he jumps well from gate 6 and leads, a top three finish isn't out of the question.

RACE 2

LONGEVITY – Should appreciate the race day experience he received last start. Lead up trials has indicated the horse has ability so hopefully an improved run is in store under Bruno Queiroz this weekend.

SUPER BABY – Copped interference mid race last start which took him out of contention in a race that has gone on to be a strong form line. He drops sharply in weight for this under the stable apprentice and a good run wouldn't shock.

COMMANDER JONES – Recent trial winner who returns a month between runs. Trial performance indicated that the stable have tweaked a few things and hopefully we see the horse go to a new level and put in a career best performance this weekend.

OCTOBER – Has had two quiet lead up trials ahead of this debut run behind a few horses who performed well on debut last week. Worth watching the market on this horse late, he might be worth considering if there is late support.

RACE 3

BIG DAY – Drawn a wide gate and will need some luck early from the gate under Marc Lerner. If he can put his best foot forward, he is the classiest horse here, respect.

CIZEN LUCKY – Stablemate of Big Day who has also been a bit off the boil of late. Pinheiro rides with a lightweight, a rider who has a good knack of getting these runners to find some old form, top three hope here.

CROWN DANCING – Nunes on board this weekend who will try to conserve energy at the front of the pack. Has been falling away late in his races so the booking is key to try and get this horse to lead all the way and win.

MY BOSS – Lightweight hope who will be running on late. Last start was far from ideal but off his run two starts ago, if they go to hard up front he could be running on into the minors.

RACE 4

MT NISEKO – Was well supported on debut for the Fitzsimmons yard but didn't have much go his way after being forced wide and over raced. Has since trialed and won in moderate time. Should appreciate the switch to turf.

FROM THE NAVY – Caught the eye running second to Wealth Elite in similar conditions last start. He hit the front and looked the winner at huge odds and gets Zaki in the saddle yet again. Looks value.

CHARMINTON – Didn't have much go right in the run last start so willing to forgive that previous performance. Will need plenty of luck from the wide draw but does have a very strong course and distance record.

SONGGONG HERA – We haven't seen this gelding in class 4 since early 2021 where he scored over 1000m on the Polytrack. Does have a better record on the short course but must be considered.

RACE 5

KHAO MANEE – Beaten 5 lengths last start but came from a long way back to hit the line impressively. The return to the mile on turf is key for this horse to produce his best, big watch.

BLUE IDOL – Copped a bit of interference at the top of the straight and lost a bit of momentum. His consistent placings in recent runs suggest he is working towards another win, deserves respect.

EXCEED NATURAL – Made good ground last start and comes through the same race as Blue Idol. Racing well over this track and trip at the moment, can go close here with 54kg on his back after the claim.

CITIZEN – Should find this much easier heading to class 5 for the first time. It would be fair to say that his performances up in class 4 and novice haven't been that great but he should notice the class drop this weekend.

RACE 6

KING OF SIXTY-ONE – Absolutely bolted in over 2000m for a much deserved victory. Duric stays in the saddle and well roll forward once again and take some beating here again.

EASY BREEZY – Continuing on with good form lines after facing Maxima at his last two starts. Stable have him in tip top condition and looks a key multiples player.

WINNING STRIDE – Has run into King Of Sixty-One here again after running second to him over a slightly further trip. His style of racing is ideal for a race like this.

PRIORITIZE – Gets in well on the weights again against similar opposition to his previous start. Has been consistent without winning and that next victory isn't far away.

RACE 7

MY DETERMINATION – Ran on super up the rail to be beaten by the stablemate in his class 5 debut. There have been subsequent winners in behind with God's Gift going on to win the following start, respect.

SMOKE AND MIRRORS – Rattled home to go down a half length to God's Gift last start in his return to class 5. Off that run, one would expect him to be fighting it out in the finish.

SHIHAB – Beaten a slender margin last time he raced at this grade. Has had plenty of chances to win but looks and each way contender here once again.

FIREWORKS – Looks one of the tougher 1400m fields this horse has faced this season but the record at the distance speaks for itself. Will need to be good to win, but he has the fitness in the legs and the consistency on his side.

RACE 8

SAINT TROPEZ – Holds a nomination for the Gold Cup in a few weeks time and a win here will help cement a start in the staying feature. Trialed nicely in preparation for this and deserves a pick.

MAXIMA – Building a very strong resume here at Kranji since arriving from Hong Kong. His two wins and a minor placing in class four were very strong. Now must step up to class three.

RAMBO – Very tough middle distance runner who has been trained well by Daniel Meagher. Distance doesn't look to be a danger and he is very tough in tight finishes.

REAL EFECTO – Nunes has taken the booking again after they finished just under two lengths behind Saint Tropez. His performances have been strong this year and could gather strong market support.

RACE 9

SILO – Jumped favorite in the G3 Golden Horseshoe and following a second placing, was freshened up. Raturns to the races here off some eye-catching trials, should go close.

ARTILLERY – Ridden very cold last start and couldn't get a run late to have a crack at them. Looking to bounce back this weekend a hopefully a more positive position in the run will see him within striking distance in the straight with Nunes on board.

BLACK STORM – Formally Roman Chief, Black Storm steps out for his first run since late August and has barely put a foot wrong so far. Having his first run for the new stable and hopefully he can make in impression in a very deep novice.

LIM'S SALTORO – Stepping up here following a strong maiden victory which has been a raced that has held up form wise with a few winners coming out of the race. Looks to be a horse with ability who can rise to the task here in novice grade.

RACE 10

SUPER SALUTE – Gets back to class 2 level at a distance that saw him win the G2 EW Barker Trophy back in April. Looks set to take this out and if he is at his best could be how far.

DREAM ALLIANCE – Gets in under the radar with 50kgs for what looks to be a race out of his class. If they go quick early and spread out, he could be the one flying home late to upset them.

KHARISMA – Steps up to the 1400m after a string of good performances over 1200m including a Group 3 win this season. He has never won beyond 1200m but at this point of his career he could be looking for it.

SATURNO SPRING – Simon Kok takes the ride on a horse he has had a bit to do with in recent months. He has a good course and distance record that reads (3:1-1-0). Value player here.

RACE 11

LIM'S KOSCIUSZKO – Singapore's champion is looking to take a clean sweep of our G1 WFA races this season. His performance in the Raffles Cup was probably his best coming so close to breaking a 10-year-old course record. He is flying!

INVINCIBLE TYCOON – Massive run into second placing to give the Lim's Stable the Group 1 quinella in the Raffles Cup. He has risen nearly 20 rating points since July this year. Keep him safe.

MR MALEK – Continues to catch the eye behind Lim's Kosciuszko doing his best work late in the races. He probably should have more feature wins to his name but always runs into a very good one.

CYCLONE – He will look to hit peak fitness come November for the Gold Cup but is looking very fit coming from well back in the field which is his style. If there is rain on the day it will boost his profile.

RACE 12

KNIPPENBERG – Stable apprentice S.Jamil takes the steer from barrier 4. That will give him a chance to get a nice run with plenty of early speed in the race. Maps well and brings that strong Ghalib form.

ITALIAN REVOLUTION – Handy galloper who hasn't had any favours in the barrier draws recently and this weekend is no different. If he can slot in and get a tractable run he has the ability to take this out.

HURRICANE -He will look to come across from a wide draw for Duric and he has done it before here on the long course two starts back where he blew them away. The barrier is the only real concern.

KICK – Has performed well in this class including a 0.8 length second placing behind Ghalib two runs back which looks a strong form race. Rates well for a top four finish.
