Ansu to continue winning streak

3 minute read

Progressive performer Ansu has made a rapid rise through the classes in six local starts and looks well-placed to chalk up the hat-trick of wins in the 1400m Class 3 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

Ansu  will be coming off successive wins on his home track over 1300m and  1400m, the most recent when leading throughout at his first foray into Class 3 company. The five-year-old received heavy market support when scoring with
50kg after the 3kg claim for apprentice Tuan Ammar.

ANSU arrived in Malaysia with a record of one win from ten starts, his sole victory when breaking the maiden tag on debut back in January 2021. The former Kiwi galloper has found his niche since joining Simon Dunderdale earlier this year, and he should add to his winning tally this weekend.
