The recent G1 Selangor Gold Cup should provide a reliable form line for this year’s Sports Toto Supreme Challenge Cup at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

The minor place getters from that contest are likely to head the betting markets as Berry Bliss  and Awesome Storm  finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the September 17 feature. Berry Bliss  has the advantage with more experience over the 1400m trip and his record of three from five at the journey will place him in good stead.

Awesome Storm  has the class on his side and his run in the cup was excellent considering he drew the outside gate with the 60kg impost at his first attempt over the mile. Sincerely  and Kong Fu Panda  finished just outside the placings in the Selangor Cup and both have race fitness on their side with the pair filling the minor placings in A Metro A race here two weeks ago.
