RACE 1

BIONICS – Gets back to class five for the first time since November last year when he won. Looking to get back in form but this is a big class drop and he has the ability. Woodworth takes the ride.

GALAXY BAR – Gets up the 1400m trip where he won his Open Maiden back in July. Look for him to take up a forward position and give himself every opportunity. Needs luck from the wide draw.

SOUTHERN MASTER – Finished third to God's Gift at his last outing over this distance. Seemed to relish the rise in distance and should be nice and positive early.

SPLIT SECOND – Hasn't won below 1600m in his career but is a proven performer in this grade. Does his best racing on a wet surface so connections will be hoping for rain.

RACE 2

GUN – Gets a solid draw in barrier four for Ronnie Stewart who should be able to position up nicely from that alley. Well beaten by a very handy maiden winner and he will take plenty from that first up run.

WINS EIGHT – Expect him to show sharp early speed from the wide draw. He comes into this off the back of a nice first up run, but it all comes down to how quick they go in the early stages.

WRITTEN TOWIN – This gelding has been supported in betting in his first few starts. He can be slowly away so expect him to settle back but the way this race will be run he could be there flashing home late.

PACIFIC COMMANDER – Gets a nice draw in barrier two after having a break since his Group 3 Golden Horseshoe run where he finished down the track that day. Two nice trials have him ready to go.

RACE 3

BILLY ELLIOT – Last time we saw him in this grade he was victorious beating The Wild Prince over this same distance in February. Hasn't been beaten far recently and can score here on the downgrade.

BIG GREEN HAT – Form has been far from disgraceful recently but gets back to class five over a distance he has done his best racing at. If the market is with him, you should be too. Nunes on is a big booking.

ZYGARDE – In a race riddled with class droppers you would be mad to leave this one out of the numbers. Proven performer in the grade and four of his six wins at the distance.

THE WILD PRINCE – Has been supported in the market but failed to put wins on the board in his last few runs. His record is too strong to put him aside so look for him to bounce back.

RACE 4

PRIORITIZE – Scored a strong win coming from behind on the turf last start. Stays in a winning grade and his course and distance stats are strong with two wins from five starts.

ENGINE START – Market is the best guide to this gelding who is proven at the grade and caught the eye running fourth coming from well back a few weeks ago. Proven and can figure.

FREE FALLIN' – Bounced back to form after three ordinary performances. Looks like he is back to a mark that saw him win consecutive races earlier this season.

ROCKY – Jumped and led them up last start but failed to come off the bridle in a subpar performance. He is better than that and don't be surprised to see him return to form.

RACE 5

CREATIVE DREAMS – Continues to race consistently but runs into one better on the day. It's not a matter of if he will win a maiden but more so when. Will be well supported but barrier is a query.

RIVER DRAGON – Caught the eye running into third last start behind the well backed Dr Kardo. He himself was met with betting support and the best advice is to watch for any money again. Expect him to settle back from wide barrier.

COMMANDER – Runs have been riddled with bad luck including blowing the start two runs ago and pulling up lame at his most recent start. He showed first up he has something there and will appreciate a longer trip.

A BETTER TOMORROW – Hasn't hit the mark we thought he would after his minor placing on debut behind Golden Brown who has gone onto better things. Don't write him off in a race of this depth.

RACE 6

THE STAR – Comes into this off the back of a nice second placing Golden Dash last month. Genuine Polytrack performer who comes into this division ready to go.

SIRIUS – One runner from the in-form Jason Ong stable who has put together two wins this season on this surface. Yet to win at 1200m but has done most of his racing over shorter trips. Queiroz booked to ride a plus.

RICH FORTUNE – Caught the eye coming from well back last start to run second behind Lim's Wish. That was a much weaker race, but the run was promising.

PACIFIC CHARM – Having his second run for the new stable coming off a third placing behind Golden Dash. If he can replicate that performance, it will be enough to figure in the finish.

RACE 7

PACIFIC MV – A winner of two races since arriving early this season. Came from well back to score easily and has trained on with a slick trial on the 19th. Can continue the winning form.

BRANSOM – Talented sprinter who hasn't been seen since August finishing fourth that day. Seems to appreciate the Polytrack and trialed in nice style behind Asif recently.

ELLIOT NESS – He was the run of the race behind Rocketship who had the race run to suit her on a lightweight. He came from well back at savaged the line. Will be winning very soon.

NIMBUS STAR – Racing second up this weekend after an on-speed performance on debut saw him finish fourth in a strong form race. Can improve second up and be supported.

RACE 8

SHIHAB – Still searching for that first win here in twelve career starts. His best performances have come at this distance and the stable has been in great form.

LEATHERHEAD – This is his second run in class five after he was beaten five lengths to Screen Shot. Has since trialed well behind Thunder and he cannot be forgotten this low in the grade. Duric on and draws nicely in barrier four.

MY DETERMINATION – Will be well in the market as the Burridge stable have a good grip on this race. Yet to score in thirteen career starts but recent form is promising.

TWO MILLION – Has done most of his racing on the turf course recently and willing to give him a top four pick as he was a winner over this trip two starts back.

RACE 9

TEARDROPS – She can be an extremely frustrating mare to follow. She promises so much on the track and continues to string together minor placings. Did clock a slick 60.11 in her most recent trial. Expect her to show quick early speed.

CHARMINTON – Look for him to settle off the speed and make his presence felt in a class where he has done his best racing. Long Course suits him here.

COOL SIXTY-ONE – Last two starts have been promising at this level with two minor placings to his name. Judging by his record you would prefer him on the short course but has claims.

ITALIAN REVOLUTION – Looking to see him bounce back here after getting smashed and lucky to stay on his feet at the 250m last start where he was travelling well. Don't dismiss him he has ability.

RACE 10

KNIPPENBERG – Comes onto the Polytrack where he has only had the one career start back in February. Scored a strong win last start beating Makin who franked that form winning last weekend.

WAR ROOM – Very strong victory last start carrying 59kgs. Has plenty of talent this gelding and has two strong trials to keep him fit for this affair. Will be there in the finish.

AKHTAR – On the quick backup from last weekend where he absolutely toyed with the opposition to score an easy win over 1000m. The quick backup is the main concern but has the ability to feature.

DANCING LIGHT – Lightly raced five-year-old with four wins to his name on this surface. Those wins came at 1000-1100m so the distance is the big question but back to class four must be respected.

RACE 11

PACIFIC EMPEROR – Exciting galloper who is unbeaten at this course and distance from three appearances. Trialed sharply in preparation for this and will gather plenty of support. Gets a great barrier and Wong in the saddle.

SUPER SALUTE – Beaten by a pretty handy one last start and has been one of our most high-profile gallopers including some strong performances at group level. Don't dismiss.

GENERAL COMMAND – Strong claims at this distance and does his best racing on this surface. Wasn't beaten far behind Sacred Gift and look for him to bounce back here.

RENZO – Has really hit form in his last few starts on the Polytrack, so this race has come at the right time while his form has hit career best. Can finish in the money.

RACE 12

FIGHTING HERO – Racing in tremendous form his last three starts. Seems to have found a few extra gears over these sprint distances and when he gets his way, he really puts them away.

SURREY HILLS – Looked the winner for most of the straight last start but was upset by Always Together who has since run well into a minor placing at this level. Due for a win very soon.

VGOR – Big eye-catching run behind Pacific Master at his most recent run. Well beaten that day but his final sectionals were impressive.

ANIKI – Newcomer formerly raced as Surreal Leo in Australia with some nice performances to his name. Did win a trial in good time and market is the best guide.
