Progressive performer, Golden King appears on track to break the winning drought in the 1500m Supreme B contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

Golden King has not won since March last year but is coming off successive minor placings at group one level last month. The five year old caught the eye with a fast finishing 2nd in the 2000m G1 Piala Emas Sultan Selangor before a short head defeat in the 2000m G1 Penang Gold Cup last start.

Golden King is well placed at the weights and looks a genuine chance to atone this weekend.
