Race 1

Preview: SASSY LADY is coming to hand and now looks ready to score. DATA LINK ran well on debut and has tons of scope to improve and get much closer this afternoon. EVIE’S LIGHT has run three times and placed in all three – the trend looks set to continue. There are a lot of well bred unraced horses in this race so keep an eye on the trainer comments and watch the betting moves closely. (Warren Lenferna 15-2-5)

Race 2

Preview: A small field. PETTY OFFICER gets the services of Bernard Faydherbe and she looks the right one here – she has run close up recently behind some very good sorts. The Vaughan Marshall duo COLOUR OF MAGIC and TONYA bring solid form into this race and they should be right there at the finish looking to earn some minor money. (Warren Lenferna 1-4-3)

Race 3

Preview: REFINED BACHELOR showed good improvement from run one to run two and even more improvement can be expected. Jockey Brandon May is doing well on this son of Great Britain and they have been selected to win. APOLLO STAR is knocking very loudly at the door and should not be a maiden for too much longer. THE BORDER WAR is improving with racing and must be included in the quartet. It is a big field and there are some unraced runners so once again, pay attention to the comments and the betting market. Race 4

Preview: AMAZINGLY is improving with each and every outing to the race course and now looks cherry ripe and very hard to beat, especially from the best draw of one! The year younger HEART OF A LEGEND is drawn right next to the first choice and she will have a strong place chance – it might not be too easy beating the year older Amazingly despite the difference in weights. DARING MISS is well tried but always runs well – it would be silly to ignore her chances for the quartet. (Warren Lenferna 1-10-2)

Race 5

Preview: DEX DEXTER caught the eye on debut and caught it in a big way! He was running on well despite being green and should be more racing wise now and should also relish the mile. He is well bred and looks to be a very nice type – with natural improvement he could be very hard to beat here. BORDER CONTROL and TRIPPLE EXPLOSION have serious chances and should be right there but they might all have to run some to beat Dex Dexter. (Warren Lenferna 9-1-2)

Race 6

Preview: OH BEHAVE is consistent and comes into this race with obvious strong each way claims. EIGHTH WONDER comes into the race carrying top weight. His overall form is good and he has ability. His last run was particularly good and based on that despite the weight he has to carry should fight out the finish. BARAK LAVAN and FIRE IN THE BELLY are worth including on your shortlist. Race 7

Preview: THE RIGHT ROAD ran very well last time, first time out the maidens and based on that encouraging performance has to be considered for the win position here. RULE THE WORLD ran okay last time and is showing signs that it won’t be too long until he records his second career win – respect. IN THE JUNGLE ran second last time and has a bright chance of going one better – all in all, a trappy race. (Warren Lenferna 2-8-9)

Race 8

Preview: AZARENKA is making threatening signs of recording her third career win. Her last run was good and she is selected with some degree of confidence. DIVA FEVER is consistent and should make an interesting race of it and REBEL’S IDOL and MOULINA from the Paul Reeves stable should be able to earn some prize money. (Warren Lenferna 1-7-11)
