Race 1

Race Summary: DUCHESS OF GOLD takes her time about things. She improved again last time and could get the required pace to add to her tally. MAURITANIA is hard to peg back once in front and should have every chance from gate three. But BABY ON BOARD could turn around a neck beating as she is 2kg better off. She had things go wrong in her last turf start and could be best on the poly. HUGSANDHIGHFIVES and BALLROOM BLISS are capable and need to be taken seriously. The others can also earn.

Selections:

#5 Duchess Of Gold, #3 Mauritania, #2 Baby On Board, #4 Hugsandhighfives

Race 2

Race Summary: BLUE HORIZON won well enough to suggest she can make a decent handicap debut. She should also enjoy the 1400m on the poly and has gate one. STAR CHOICE and MISS LIALAH are on a roll with both looking to make it three in a row. The former could mow them down if the pace is good. The latter went up nine points in merit ratings and will have to up her game. LITTLEBLACKVELVET won her maiden showing good resolve and can make further progress. FORT J'ADORE is a bit better than her recent form. She can threaten from a good gate. QUANABI is also not out of it.

Selections:

#1 Blue Horizon, #4 Star Choice, #6 Littleblackvelvet, #2 Fort J'Adore

Race 3

Race Summary: PURPLE FLOWER was only just pipped last time and can go one better having drawn well again. But it is quite competitive. Stablemate SWEET JULIA also rates a big runner. She looked the likely winner but just found one better last. She could appreciate the longer distance. AMBER SKY isn't the most consistent but did go amiss last time and was rested. If over her issues she could be right up there. AN AIR OF PRIDE races for a stable in good form and she has run well enough to shed her maiden tag. However she has a wide draw to overcome after a rest. FLYING REIGN STORM is another with a shout.

Selections:

#1 Purple Flower, #3 Sweet Julia, #2 Amber Sky, #8 An Air Of Pride

Race 4

Race Summary: TIME TOGETHER will be having his third run after a rest and at his peak could be hard to fight off. He found one better in William Rufus last time but may not get caught this time. PATRONAGE was only a short head behind TIME TOGETHER and is starting to knock at the door. He should have every chance having drawn well. NOW I GOT YOU had to take evasive action on his poly debut. He can improve and from gate one could be the dark horse. PARMENION was a bit disappointing last time but deserves another chance. VOLDEMORT is capable of beating stronger.

Selections:

#3 Time Together, #2 Patronage, #1 Now I Got You, #6 Parmenion

Race 5

Race Summary: At first glance this handicap appears wide open. But if ROY'S COMMAND is back to best he could get the job done. His best form is over this course and distance. He hasn't draw well but KHANYISA INDLELA has drawn wider out. The latter has been a bit costly as he seems to find trouble. However it could be his day. It was good to see FARLAND get back to winning ways and if given the chance he could go start to finish again. MR MOLONY is another that enjoys the poly and he is one with form that hasn't drawn badly. He should have every chance.

Selections:

#7 Roy's Command, #10 Khanyisa Indlela, #9 Farland, #4 Mr Molony

Race 6

Race Summary: SUNDANCE KID is on a roll and could complete a hat-trick. However, he takes a step up in class and has drawn widest. The two three-year-olds WINTER GAMES and MEXICAN PETE are talented and need to be taken seriously. The former showed very good pace after a break last time when meeting a classy field. He could be anything on the poly. MEXICAN PETE is unbeaten in two runs on the synthetic and has shown high class ability as well. Doesn't end there. PIRATE PRINCE and CYBER TIME have run some crackers in the recent past and need to be respected.

Selections:

#8 Sundance Kid, #5 Mexican Pete, #2 Winter Games, #1 Pirate Prince

Race 7

Race Summary: It could be a rematch between KENNEDY, LE PREMIERE and VISION OF WILL. KENNEDY loves this venue but having won on the turf and poly, she could fend off a rating hike and win again. LE PREMIERE ran on well to finish 0.80-lengths behind KENNEDY and is now 2,5kg better off. Ultra consistent VISION OF WILL was not far off either but she had issues in running. She should be right there again. LOVE BOMB is the proven class of the race and she has been knocking at the door so could be dangerous.

Selections:

#2 Le Premiere, #8 Kennedy, #5 Love Bomb, #4 Vision Of Will

Race 8

Race Summary: POPPY OF BAYEUX must surely get it right one of these days. She has run a string of good races without winning but after running well against males could finally reward her connections. BLUSH OF DAWN is tough to hold off if she gets the timing right. The evergreen seven-year-old is at her best over this course and distance. CHELSEA FLOWER may have found her last race over 1000m a bit short. She is another that can race from the front or come with a strong finish from off the pace. ANGELIC FORT (light weight) and SWISS PARADISE aren't bad value options.

Selections:

#7 Poppy Of Bayeux, #6 Blush Of Dawn, #8 Chelsea Flower, #9 Angelic Fort

Best Win: #2 LE PREMIERE

Best Value Bet: #1 PURPLE FLOWER

Best Longshot: #1 PURPLE FLOWER
